I have never seen anything like this before. I have watched plenty of videos on beginner's batting coaching but this one is on another level. He is absolutely an enthusiastic and brilliant coach. Yeah I figured that out during my last innings, so i started tapping my bat when the bowler was running in and I realized my natural back lift after he released was slightly away from my body with the bat angling towards first or second slip. My swing towards the ball felt more free flowing

Yeah 100% agree❤. Complete basics. At 18:46 1 really key thing adhered to me is playing Infront of body in leg side. Lot of young players struggle coz of big and across stride. So small step but straight with head out Infront is key for accessing leg side

Good that u r giving good tips for youngies.....but I always followed Sir Garfield Sobers&Sir Vivian Richards,both of whom I met personally!I played better after following them--watched both of them play live on ground!! They also gave me great compliments for my craftsmanship when I presented them with some beautiful replicas of Cricket Stadiums (with full of action )that I create all by own self- right from my childhood! In fact,I got compliments from Vijay Merchant to Sachin via Sunil(Gavaskar).Then Steve Waugh too!If u hv whatsapp I can send some pictures to u. Anyway,u r doing a good&useful job for our youngesters.Keep it up! --Love.

That means you are playing an aggressive shot too late. When you play the ball late, it just stays there near bat and your bat momentum strikes the ball again. You will need to react quickly. Try including a trigger movement, if you do not have already.
