Your soothing voice, incredible knowledge and passion for medieval and miniature and your unbelievable skills in putting it all together simply blow me away. @@Thicketworks How delightful that you have taken the time to reply, Heather. That is so lovely. I am making miniature pianos to sell during lockdown, as that is my profession (piano teacher) and wanted to make miniatures to go with them...and your videos inspire me SO much. I would love to subscribe to your business but a cricket maker is not for me. Do you have any other business sidelines I can support? At present I am making a medieval castle for 12 inch dolls and doing all my own dress making and miniature design. My miniatures are not to the incredible detail that yours are, but they give me massive joy to make. Keep up your INCREDIBLE work and please let me know if there are any other business sidelines of yours I can support. Best wishes. Andrea :)

Never mind, I still managed to pig out on Christmas food so I hope you enjoyed yours too.

Hi Chrissy! Well, in theory you CAN print out the jpegs and use them as cutting guides, but it would be a lot of work, girl. However, where there's a will, there's a way. Another great tutorial! Some crafters use baking soda to quickly harden superglue. Is that what the Bondo technique achieves, or are they for different objectives?
@Thicketworks4 жыл бұрын
Hi Rob! Well, the Pauper's Bondo serves a couple of purposes - yes, to cure the CA glue instantly with the Baking Soda, but also to act as a filler to smooth out imperfections in the surface. I love that stuff! xoxo

@cindywells6264 жыл бұрын
So I purchased the Starbond Thin Glue and the applicator bottle with metal tip, but it leaks at the tip. It came with a set of two and they both leak. Did you find this an issue? Am I doing something wrong or is it the wrong bottle, but I used your link? Suggestion?
@Thicketworks4 жыл бұрын
Uh oh! When you say it leaks at the tip, can you clarify, Cindy? If the bottle is just sitting upright, does it leak from the open end of the metal tube? Or, does it leak around the collar of the top? If you purchased via my link, you're using the exact same bottle that I do. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this, my friend. If you can include a picture and attach it to an email, that will help us figure it out. You can always reach me via email here: heather@thicketworks.com
