Very good info. Three fingers down does not work on toddlers shirts. I messed up 2 shirts. They just wear them as play shirts. We have twin Grandsons. Should put on the back my Grandma messed up my shirt. Good thing they are 4 and dont care. Lol

Thank you, Denise. :) Lol... that's funny, although I'm sure they love their Grandma's "mess ups". 😊

Great video! Some other things to know in my personal experience and opinion are.. The importance of having a dedicated room just for using this small machine. EXPENSE. The machine is the cheap part. Materials/accessories you will spend a small fortune. You will make lots of expensive mistakes. EASE OF USE. These are not the most user friendly machines. TIME. you should be prepared to dedicating much of your time to learn how to use. (Best for retired and or stay at moms with money. You will have to log in many hrs of tutorial/tips videos like this. COMPUTER SAVVY. If you do not have a computer and or not tech savvy you will have a hard time. In summary if a had known all of this before I impulsively purchase a cricut I could/would have saved a lot of money and time just having a print shop make what I needed. Just my opinion on things to know about the Cricut machines. This is not to discourage anybody. Just my experience. Thanks

I have to disagree about using parchment paper for sublimation, I'm afraid. Parchment paper is coated and designed to retain moisture which is not a friend of sublimation. My husband worked in the paper industry for nearly 40 years.

I appreciate your comment. What works for some may not work for others. Brands and other factors can be taken into account. I find this article an interesting read: sublimation.studio/butcher-paper-vs-parchment-paper-for-sublimation/ Thanks for watching! 😁

Perhaps what people should be looking for is a product that says it is suitable for sublimation/ink blowout as there is also Butcher Paper available that is coated, which is also not suitable for sublimation. Sizing is used in papermaking to improve the absorption and wear characteristics of the paper. The most common materials used in sizing solutions are starch, latex, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). Not necessarily something I would want to be adding to the toxic fumes that are produced when sublimating which is why the area used should be well ventilated too.
