So because he played clarinet, liked bees and didn't talk to his neighbors he was weird and therefore a suspect? wow. I hope none of my neighbors ever turn up dead. and the fact that he didn't attend the funeral means absolutely nothing...they just said he never talked to the neighbors. at least the cops and prosecutors apologized to him after he was found to be innocent. Most departments would not ever do that. I guess they can have props for that.
@missindependent19734 жыл бұрын
I don’t interact a lot with my neighbours either...it doesn’t mean I’m weird. It just means I like my privacy and dislike nosy neighbours 👌 the amount of mistakes and wrongly convicted people in the justice system is terrifying 😳 it’s definately a broken system
@aprilsparlin57074 жыл бұрын
One of the most disturbing aspects of this case is that one of the informants was an undercover police officer who very clearly lied about the jailhouse confession. If the police had done their jobs they could have solved this case and brought about justice for Christine. Instead, her killer got to live his entire life and end it on his own terms. Knowing who he is is not justice.

In order to believe there are many false convictions, one must believe the justice system is deeply flawed, but I don't, I believe the overwhelming majority of convictions are correct and as evidentiary science grows the percentage of false convictions drops even lower

Boy this tells you how wrong the Durham investigation went. Absent the tunnel vision they might have broadened their search and found the right guy who new Christine and the family. I don't think the family particularly the Brother were very gracious to Morin even after the DNA ruled him out. So the undercover cop lied. We expect that from jailhouse snitches but from a cop.
