A mother and a son of a prominent Low Country family are both found dead on their sprawling South Carolina compound. Alex Murdaugh, a name synonymous with power and privilege in the area, soon under arrest.
Kenny Kinsey, Chief Deputy for the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office and a seasoned expert in crime scene reconstruction, was called on by the prosecution to offer his expert opinion on the order of shots fired, which ones proved fatal, the trajectory of the shots based on crime scene evidence, and many other issues that, taken together, painted a vivid picture of how it all happened.

John Marvin told SLED in his on-site interview (conducted in Owen's car) that there were trail cameras at various locations on the estate, but none in the area of the kennels, hangar-shop or main house. It boggles the mind that in 2021 the Murdaugh's DIDN'T HAVE ANY CCTVs. One could of course argue that this was intentional so that there would be no video record of the various Moselle shenanigans such as underage drinking and driving or shady types making "deliveries." Who knows.

I'm just now watching the trial on KZbin (was working during actual trial) so this is a catch up. I was most impressed by Dr. Kinsey - how he explained his findings thoroughly. Heard that after the verdict the jury asked to see him so they could thank him on how he explained his findings. In this video he described the mark on Maggie's leg and it's connection to the Polaris tire together with the tissue and blood found on it but I never saw it brought up in his testimony. Maybe it was cut or maybe the tissue and blood was seen in a picture and found at a later date. He said the mark on Maggie's leg had been washed off so I can see how maybe it was left out but the samples found on the Polaris? What happened to them?

Awesome job Dr. Kinsey. Hopfully you read this: throgh testimony one can conclude that Paul was not staying st Mouselle very much. He was called out that night to replant the sunflowers. They were dying out as a result of a pesticide. Through testimony and snap chat , it was stated that there was a corn field next to the sunflower field. There was another cornfield nect to a stock pond that was planted at the same time. The corn fields are important because the one that wasn't near the sunflower field had doubled growth. Any corn famer would say they both should be equl in height. Was there a soil sample taken? The corn field had to be affected by the same contanent that affected the Sunflowers. Eith the knowledge if the fields being planted on the same day, the corn field by the stock pond would have been sprayed at the same time. Since the other field was not affected that leads to the two fields that were together being sprayed with a contamanent after they treated eith the orginal spraying that the worker did. Also, my inlaws used to train Running Walkers and Treeing Walkers. My grandfather used to train bird dogs. That Chicken coop is approx. 20 to 30 feet from bird dog kennels.y grandfather painstakingly made his training throws with feathers. My inlaws trained their Coon Hounds with live bait. Im not convinced that those chickens were on a hunting lodge for farming reasons. With the pad being sprayed, the dogs out with Maggie, Paul having to enter the shed to get a topical for the dogs tail and an open chicken pen with loose bird dogs out of the kennel. Wouldnt that lead to the dogs attacking a chicke? The Polaris is by Maggie. The golf cart tracks were in between the chicken coop and the shed. Paul is in the jennel with ghe dog. That eould put Alex spraying the kennels. The dogs are placed in the wrong pen. Maggie has to wait for the pen to be closed before the dogs are re released. Paul heads for the shed. Alex, pits the hose down Paul goes into the shed, Alex passes him heading towards the chicken coop. Nothing alarming except he doesn't get all the way to the pen. The proof of thus is the coop is still open on police body cam footage. The shot gun is used close range. The Black out is used on Maggie because of the high powered scope. Sohe would not be positioned in the light. She quite possibly was seated on the Polaris. The tire track in her leg was made when it was moved down from where it was parked. Looking at tire marks it would put the Polaris to the left where Maggie was laying. If this theory is true, this was purely premeditated.

Thank God, I solved everything; and the last pieces for me were Kenny Kinsey, Ph.D.'s talk at CrimeCon 2023 kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXmrXnmMr9mZaZY and my going back and reviewing Alex Murdaugh's ("AM") defense team's January 2023 Motion for Sanctions, basically to exclude the white T-shirt AM was wearing when he discovered Maggie's ("MKBM") and Paul's ("PTM") bodies and which he gave IMMEDIATELY to responding Law Enforcement Officers when they asked for it. Be careful what you wish for, you might get it. And boy, did AM's defense team get played big time by Creighton Waters and Kenny Kinsey, Ph.D.! Kenny Kinsey, Ph.D. ends that presentation with a report of his telling Creighton to put that shirt back in the closet. In other interviews, either Waters or Kenny reported that Waters wanted Kenny to be "the canari in the mine," meaning let Kenny say what he thinks and leave Creighton to spin it. I hope that Kenny reads this and has the integrity (better late than never) that Becky Hill's co-author showed by severing ties with "Boo" after initially defending her. And I do not know whether the photo of a shirt with stains on top is THE actual AM T-shirt or a dramatization of it. But assuming it is, Kenny says it LOOKS like spatter but he cannot say it was BLOOD spatter because the hemo-trace tested negative for HUMAN blood. That Tom Bevel charlatan from Oklahoma had first opined it was NOT spatter, then recanted and, for thousands of dollars, opined that it was spatter and the hemo-trace was a false negative. When Tom Bevel got exposed in AM's defense team's motion, and based on Kenny's advice, Creighton gave AM's defense a Trojan Horse: all right, the State will not introduce that shirt. Boy did that doom AM while his defense celebrated that pyrrhic victory! In the absence of the ACTUAL shirt, the Prosecution suggested to the jury (and to the internet world from which the jury took its "facts") that AM somehow buried his VERY bloody clothes AND the murder weapons behind his parents' house in Almeda and put a freshly laundered T-shirt which, according to one self-contradicting agent "smelled of laundry detergent." So, what is my solution which FINALLY exonerates AM and should convince ALL his haters who have any intelligence, self-respect, and/or conscience left? Read carefully: Bubba came in with his jaws clutching a bird that was flapping so hard MKBM thought it was "a Ginae" but PTM and AM corrected her "it's a chicken." Remember the saying: "like a chicken with its head cut off"? An injured or captured bird is NOT a still one but a flapping attempting-to escape one. Those tiny stains on top of AM's T-shirt are bird-blood. Proof? The LCV test for ANY blood was positive BUT the hemo-trace for HUMAN blood was negative. And when was the hemo-trace test done? Right after AM's August 2021 interview when it was clear that SLED had Paul's video with Bubba and the chicken. So, that shirt with TINY specks of NON-HUMAN blood around the neck and shoulders is THE one AM was wearing at the kennels when he extracted the bird from Bubba's jaws then hurried to Almeda before it got too dark and back to enjoy some time with MKBM and PTM. That means ALL AM's clothes that day are accounted for, nothing hidden, AND the T-shirt AM gave law enforcement was the one AM wore to AND out of the kennels in the evening of 7 June 2021. Since that T-shirt has no HUMAN blood spatter, AM could not have been the shooter. I have previously explained why the Prosecution's time of death is medically wrong; and a review of Kenny's opinions strengthens my inferences that the REAL killers were two or more females with experience hunting animals but no prior military or law-enforcement experience of aiming at human beings. Those females went to Moselle armed with PTM's previously-stolen guns and with the knowledge of PTM's whereabouts because he was being SECRETLY followed and videotaped by Sara Capelli. That is based on the sloppiness and the strange angles of the aiming. Who are those LIKELY females? I hope they don't shoot ME before I get to tell you because, by now, those females know how to shoot human beings and get away with it. Please pray for me, y'all.

Ok, I read this and I have been driving myself nuts trying to find supporting statistics regarding percentage of people killed in their homes or on their Property by unknown intruders with guns owned by the homeowners. In your defence I've been through Gun safety and have been told most my life that using a gun on a home intruder is bad because they can take possession of the gun. So knowing that and reading your conclusion, I've totally been driving myself nuts trying to find 1 case where an unknown someone not residing on the property has been convicted for murder using the victims gun. Please, please! Can you share any research that you have done on this statistic? I can't find one case ever. If your conclusion is correct it looks like this case will be the first. Not saying this sarcastic. It's just another crazy twist in an already crazy case. If anyone else knows where to find anything on this, please post it. I really am curious about it.

@@alonawhalen, first, thank you so much for your open-mindedness, civility, and scholarship. Second, my theory was NEVER that the real killers (and there is no doubt in my mind that they were at least two) were RANDOM and arrived UNARMED hoping to find one or more Murdaugh family gun to use. I came to this case knowing NOTHING about the Murdaughs other than what I OCCASIONALLY read on FITSNews (before they limited the articles to non-subscribers to 5/month but I refuse to subscribe to FITSNews in protest over Will Folks' racist bend and old lies against Nikki Haley), which turned out to have been propaganda probably pushed by Eric Bland before Eric and Will had a falling out, probably LITERALLY "haggling over price." What I DID know BEFORE the Murdaugh cases even arose is that the prosecution system in South Carolina is often used to extort one party or another IN CIVIL LITIGATION to cave to the other side who has the local prosecutor in their pocket. And if that local prosecutor cannot find a real crime you committed, (s)he will manufacture one for you. Third, the very people who prosecuted Alex Murdaugh ("AM") were (with the exception of only Savannah Goode and Mr. Conner) directly involved in trying to frame ME for harassment and later contempt-of-court AND/OR in covering up for those who tried to frame me, knowing that I was the victim, not the perpetrator of harassment. I had a jury trial with none other than Judge Clifton Newman presiding. I defended myself WITHOUT A LAWYER and, thank God, ULTIMATELY FULLY exonerated myself. But, to this day NO ONE IN SOUTH CAROLINA'S SYSTEM is willing to hold those who tried to frame me with false evidence accountable. So, if I get accused of using AM's case to get SOUTH CAROLINA'S system to look at prosecutorial misconduct, my answer would be: What is wrong with that purpose, even if it were my only purpose, which it is not? Fourth and foremost, the Prosecution's OWN early evidence in the trial is that Paul had at least TWO expensive guns lost/stolen months before the murders. My theory is that the real killers were the ones who had earlier stolen/found/bought Paul's stolen/lost guns and later arrived at Moselle armed with those VERY EXPENSIVE guns. Who could those killers be? I shall, God willing, give you some theories in another reply because I do not want this one to get too long for Google to make visible. But PLEASE indicate that you read this reply so I could, God willing, continue to communicate with you. Thanks again and God bless.

Thank you for bringing up the Tom Bevel fiasco! You forgot to mention how an agent lied to a grand jury to get the indictment. However; I don’t think they were female. Murdaugh and Paul had lots of enemies. Especially Murdaugh. He owed big people lots of money which is unaccounted for.

So how many ties was Paul shot? Why did it take Maggie so long to get to where she was killed? I dont think he ,Alex, did this, this needs to be gone over again with a different set of eyes, too many unanswered questions. the 3 shell theory is a bust, they never did what was legal so he could had a loaded gun with 5 shells

If you don’t know the basic information about how many times Paul was shot, even after listening to a small clip from the presentation, you’re making assumptions based upon very limited information and your own biases. You asked why did it take so long for Maggie to get to where Paul was murdered. Did you even listen to the hundreds of hours of testimony regarding the estimated length of time that both murders occurred? How many minutes did Maggie wait to run towards her son and her own murder? Do you even know? You finally stated that because they didn’t do what was legal, your words, the 3 shell theory is a bust. The rest of the family shotguns were all loaded in the exact same manner: birdshot, buckshot, birdshot, etc. This too was established at trial. The tendency to not abide by the law could also include the murder of his wife and son. You’re entitled to your own opinion, however watch the entire trial and the interviews by SLED before you respond to my comment.

@@5paces164 Wow, I didnt write anything about the 3-shell theory or about loading the gun with 5 shells, wow, I did watch the entire trial, I still he didn't do it, they found no blood on Alex cloths or in his car or in hie house. If he had done this where is the blood that should have been on Alex? Also why did his house and 1700 acres sale for only a few million when land around and near his house was selling for a lot more, in the millions, with less land? Now its back on the market with the house and 21 acres and the bidding starts at 1,100.000.00? why? there is something else going on and I do believe he knows who did shoot his family, but he will not talk, Now the clerk of court is dirty, this needs to be looked at again this time looked at the killings and not at the money he stole. they focused more on the money on the first trial than who killed the family, still a long way to get to the truth, my opinion counts. There is more to come out about this

@@mjj6870why do you suppose Alex lied about being at the kennels, and it was like a year later when they were finally able to get into Paul's phone that they saw the video and heard his voice on it and knew that he was there just a few minutes before they were shot.....????🙄

@@5paces164 you do know there are crooked people in SLED , right? Why was his house sold so cheap the first time and now its far sale at a fair mkt value, why?

@@mjj6870 you do realize that you have raised two different issues, right? Absolutely, there are crooked people in every profession. This doesn’t mean that the officers are morally bankrupt, nor that they did anything improper or illegal in conducting the investigation. Alex himself admitted that he found no evidence that David Owen did anything wrong in handling his case. Alex went from displaying his own badge in order to gain favorable treatment by Law Enforcement, to saying that he was paranoid from his drug addiction as an excuse for his not being honest throughout the investigation of the murders of Maggie and Paul. If anything, Alex received far more empathy and leeway from the police than most people would have, because of his family and their long history of being Presecutors in that county. How the Murdaugh family handled the sale of Maggie’s Property, Moselle, is their business. What the new owner decided to do with the sale of a portion of the property, is well within their rights as well. The distribution of assets and the sale of property were going forward quickly, until one of the attorneys for the boat crash incident put a stop to what the family was attempting to do.

SLED made a mess because entitled people were allowed to come and go through the crime scene!Alex basically issued a welcome party there that night! What always gets me is his comment have you checked them ,are they dead.No person in their right mind says such an absolutely un caring statement. Oh and another one because of the scene he went and fetched a gun.Because of the scene? His son had his brain ejected and Maggie dead on the ground too he had to go back up to the house to get a gun and asked the officer if they were dead? He had to hear they were dead almost like it was satisfaction.
