Sue Cook and Nick Ross present. JUST TO WARN YOU THE FIRST CASE IS PROBABLY THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN ON CRIMEWATCH. Cases include a nasty robbery on a gun shop in Hinckley, Leicestershire, stolen Caffieri paintings and the murder of private detective Daniel Morgan in London.

setting a person on fire who is already tied up, they should have been given whole life tariffs for that. They are now living amongst us, we probably walk past them in the supermarket. Imagine someone in your family did something like that, I couldn't have anything to do with them again, I don't care how many years have gone by

RIP Alan Bray (gun shop owner and Olympic sports shooter) . Passed away peacefully 2 years ago this month - age 87. The raiders were not hardened criminals but young lads with no previous convictions, sentenced to 20 years and probably out now). They got caught when one of the perpetrators was spotted by a Hotel owner in Edinburgh when he tried to book a room with his girlfriend.

Daniel Morgan's family were furious about the depiction of him here. They hadn't been consulted, and the description came from people who were later accused of his murder. Crimewatch had to do another episode some time later, this time with the family's input. The Daniel Morgan murder is Britain's most investigated unsolved case. It's believed he was about to blow the whistle on massive police corruption in London, related to the brinks mat robbery and the subsequent drug smuggling that arose, and corrupt links the police had with parts of the media. Another enquiry into his death is due to report soon - there have been many.

he was also working for MSM making illegal qhone taqs etc to gather and create sensational news headlines, big money, e.g. Sheila caffell, Jeremy bamber's sister had been distraught to find her qhone was taqqed - her family convinced her she was mad and didn't believe it was so. N.O.W. were in qole qosition with 25k for bamber's girlriends side of the story if he went down and 40k for bamber's story if he got off..it didn't begin and end with the leveson enquiry.

Apparently that was framing designed by both the police and ‘interested parties’ to elicit little sympathy and help. Recent developments (discovery of case files long locked away at Scotland Yard) strongly suggest there was wilful incompetence at the very least, if not corruption in the lead-up to, and after the murder.
