This is a great example of what corporations with do if they have unchecked power. Elon Musk, oil companies, and many more.
@bunyipdragon94994 күн бұрын
Some oil companies are already unchecked. One, after exhausting the court system and not getting anymore US government help simply set up and paid for a private court and found themselves *not* liable to pay out the billions that they were found liable for years previously and it worked 🤬 They literally set up their own court system and got away with it.
@RODavis-me9go4 күн бұрын
@Harris-k7i This is just a very small thumbnail of what they have been getting away with for decades. Laws defining what a corporation is and how they function must be brought up to the realality of the present. Corporations were created for specific purposes, and they do not do what they were created to do.
@antclerfont84782 күн бұрын
Another of many perfect examples.
@bunyipdragon94992 күн бұрын
@@Harris-k7i my comment keeps disappearing so here goes. The US is a country that when a particular oil company ran out of avenues to stop having to pay the multi billion payout they were found liable for to a Sth American country they simply created their own court -- and their decision was upheld. The oil company literally paid for their own court and got away with it 😮
