As a person has a stage, a table, a platform, the guest or expert is present to provide information or opinions which aren’t simply that of the host; else there’s no reason to have that guest! When I interview people, which I have experience with, I am NOT the brightest person in any room; my task is to give the interviewee the time and opportunity to talk. If I can cue up good questions, I’ve done my job. No one needs to hear me at an interview; they want to hear the interviewee!!

In Romania there is no posibility to negotiate years of conviction. Money, mobile goods and houses aee kept under control in order to be saled and fulfil the moral and material debts after litigation.

In Romania, plea bargains are possible only for crimes that carry a maximum penalty of 7 years or less. Continuous human trafficking has 13 years (in old law it was 22 years), so that is not applicable here. But, if he pleads guilty during the trial, that will automatically knock 1/3 off. Release will come in any case after 2/3 of sentence is served. Time spent in detention and under house arrest is deducted from the sentence.
