Can you tell me please, why not twist strands? 1:32 Because I always twist strands before crimping or any electrical connection.

It will interfere with the necessary displacement of strands to create a uniform squish with cold welding of all the strands

Sure appears that with these crimpers, the connector is inserted from the wrong side.

Never use Faston connectors, they are complete failure. No matter how tight you press they will come off with a strong pull!

Does your application require a very strong tensile load resistance? You can also look up the tensile pull test numbers to see what they are rated for. IIRC a 12 awg crimp with PIDG connector is supposed to be good for at least 80 lbs of pull force.
