Do I really have to spend nearly $350 for the 5 and 1 crimper tool? Or will the 4 in 1 strainright also crimp with the electrical insulated wire?

The flat line crimp tool does not crimp as hard as the 5 in 1.

4 in 1 can only crimp 2.5mm HT 5 in 1cancrimp up to 4mm wire or those electric wire crimps

So, wait… does this only work on fence wire? How about if I want to borrow some of the neighbors electricity? You know, out there in the backyard where his shed and mine stand back to back across the hog wire fence. His has electricity… mine don’t. Do you see any reason that I can’t tag into his wires with those crimps??? And, while you have the tools out… could you check and see if they can be used to mend the broken springs in my mattress? Will they knit the winch cable on my Gator? How about the guy wires on that telephone pole that I hit with the brush hog… should I use two crimps to be safe? And lastly, My grandson sold us five pounds of pecans for his FFA fundraiser… Nana promised him a pecan pie for Christmas… and, someone might have broken our old nutcracker while trying to see what was inside the marble from a spray can of fluorescent marker paint… So, which of the three tools would be the best one for cracking those pecans? PS… if Nana asks, the fluorescent paint, on my favorite plaid shirt, was from marking out a trench between my neighbors buried power line and my shed. She has no earthly need of learning about marbles in paint cans. OK? Dan, you have a good danged Christmas!

I was of the impression that one had to crimp all the way across the crimp sleeve. You saying that's not needed with high tensile wire?

I usually crimp 3 times if you want to crimp all the way across you can.
