If you guys want to get a proper scaled Kantor, I recommend you kitbash him using the new multipart prinaris lieutenant as the base, a spare MK 7 marine helmet with the laurels, a old storm bolter and a spare left hand not holding anything.

Noted! The major craftworlds have comparable strong war doctrines like the space marine chapters, and I suspect a new codex will probably give a detachment for each. So I think I'll be doing a tour of 'Max X' for each craftworld.

You shouldve paired a captain into the bladeguard squad alongside the ancient. We would benefit from having an extra two attacks on one turn from the anicnet paired with his own ability, "Finesy Hour", to stack three more attacks and Devastating Wounds on ALL hits

They’re the only ones that I know of in 40K whose leader attachment rules say outright “(you) can do so even if one or more Character models”, letting you potentially build a 3 Character lead unit, which imo feels very flavorful for the Wolves.

There was a discussion about a potential redesign for the Imperial Fists color scheme with some lore in mind. The discusion in question comes from "Design vs Lore The Imperial Fists" by WAYPN here on KZbin (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGKslpWmlNR7jcUfeature=shared). In summary, they would repaint the fists of the marines to be both red, to symbolize the Pain Glove ritual; and the other black, to symbolize the chapter relic: Dorn's Skeletal Hand. I think it would be interesting just as how the Crimson Fists chapter paint all their left fist crimson, and both when they achieve veteran status! What are your thoughts about that potential redesign of a well-established chapter?

An interesting question. Generally I'm not a fan of a lore updates which say: Hey, your army which was red is now blue. I feel like it punishes the hobbyists, even if from a narrative point of view it works. Its a little like the primaris reveal (though not as extreme). I feel new color schemes for chapters are what successors are for!

Dude i try to check out your videos but 10th hurts to watch. My lgs had more than 200 40k players in 8th yes we had a sigh up ( and the large number is our location nearest other store to play is a 5 hour drive ) but now we cant even break 10 players. Everyone is playing HH AOS or battletech but ill keep watching.

Great suggestion. Tiamet... IIRC are focused on defensive warfare, protecting their hive node. I suppose you'd want to lean into hive guard. Maybe with acid sprey fexes running forward to push enemies out. Sounds like a pretty fun base tbh😂

They have the occasional "questing tedral" from what I've heard, but you are correct, they're largely stationary. Also I didn't say it in the first comment, but thanks for giving me an idea on how to build a Crimson Fists army! I much prefer them over the Ultra Marines.

Yo i myself was planning to make a crimson fist list but it comprises of a land raider crusaider 2 lieutenant with stom shields and 2 6 man squad of BGV

The first company task force desperately needs to have some things tweaked to make it good. It's such a thematically cool detachment, bogged down by crap detachment rules and mediocre strats. Like, you could easily make it so only the veteran units get old oath, giving them full wound rerolls to Bladeguards, Sternguard, Vanguards and Termies. Bam, cuts out making it flat out better by still making it benefit first company units more than others. The enhancements should effect all the units, but give the once per battle uses something a bit more intense. A once per battle 5+ FNP isn't as good as it sounds considering how expensive the units you have to put it on are.

When I try to put this army in BattleForge and select the weapons for the stern guard veterans and captain it says invalid wargear selected. Did you have any issues with this?

I didn't, but I built the list using New Recruit. And quite a few months ago too. So it is possible some rules have been changed.
