A little reminder: the clone imitation cooldown is slightly shorter than 3 seconds, I've RErun some tests and it's somewhere around 2 to 2.5 secs Also, for those who wonder why you SHOULD wait for the clone imitation cooldown, instead of spamming, well.... the thing is, Trickster's skill damage stacks with the clones, if you trigger 2 clones + your skill AT ONCE, then it can deal a HUGE burst of damage. For those of you who argue: "why not use all 3 charges at once?", sure, you deal more damage within the first 3 seconds, but after that you can't really continue the burst anymore; PLUS, you're vulnerable because you don't have the i-frames and bullet-clear skill to spare

The key to Trickster is "TIMING", or, in other words, "RHYTHM", like he mentioned in the thumbnail of this video. Save the charges, wait for the clone imitation cool down (2 to 2.5 secs), then use the skill charge. NOTE: if your clones die, and you have at least 2 charges, you can choose to use the charge(s) independently to survive certain bullethell scenarios, or just to get that fast i-frames to avoid fire/poison tick damage

@CrimsonDeathGaming I originally said 3 secs on Soul Reaper's video, cuz I know most people count faster than the actual 2 to 2.5 seconds, and it's also the case for you as well, so we can just keep it like that (3 secs as a motto sounds nice 😂)

He didnt mention it in the video but the initial lunge part of her skill does have s, you can go through attacks with that but you can be susceptible to status effects if u get hit after, it's only on startup 👍👍

Now this is making me wonder if Trickster can be a new competitor for Bare Hands runs, since her clones ALWAYS seem to hold her starting weapon, so theoretically you could bypass the entire bare handed challenge and just rely on the skill and clones

Simply quick notes: -passive clone limit is 2 -each clone could perform the skill, and each clone that perform a skill give extra 5 stack of ult (i call it that, it's a bar under the mana bar) -however, the clone only holds 1 stack of skill, so so their skill cooldown should be finished whenever you gain 1 skill stack. -when ult bar is full, using skill will trigger the ult, summon 3 clones, the 3 clones will Dissapear once the ult bar ran out

I think waiting 3 seconds to use her skill is just a waste of time and damage. You still get 5 passive points when you use that skill without clones, so more damage + less time to summon other clones.

@umjogadorqualquer2192 if you have 100 passive points before entering the boss room, you can just spam the skill. Reload time of it takes the same time as the cooldown of clones. So you can attack with your clones, and then follow with the the second slash. You know, this skill have stacks for a reason.

@@TetRm The clones' skill cd is like 85-90% of your skill cd. It's basically leaves you defenseless against the monster bullets in cd when you just basically spam them. So yeah, it's better to just spam twice at the boss fight.

Trickster works well when you can keep her clones alive, but other than that, you'll have a hard time dealing with: - close range bosses, such as Christmas Trent, Headless Horseknight, Slime King, Prehistoric Collosus - and certain bullethell bosses, such as "the Monkey" (Gold Mask), Nian, Varkolyn Leader, Sandworm, Baby Dragon Bros, so much more Honestly, Trickster is kinda balanced imo, you just need a bit more dodging skills on your end, and time the skill charges well
