Yeah, that “scared to have disabled children” one… my uncle has a disabled kid. He’s 7, but he’s basically physically and mentally 1. He can’t speak, walk properly, etc. I forgot what it’s called. My uncle said he wishes he never had a kid- he’s mentally fucked cause of this kid- it’s not that he’s stupid, I get that, what I’m saying is they require more, and most of the time, constant care, and more often they turn out mentally being a baby for all their life. It’s terrifying and it takes a huge toll on your mental health and physical health. People are scared to have disabled kids, and I know why because I’ve witnessed my uncle be the fun loving uncle that used to play with us when we were little he used to be to a constantly mentally drained father who hardly had any energy and doesn’t even like going out with his kids because it’s so draining.

It puts us at such a disadvantage that life is several times harder to live, school is harder to learn at, jobs are harder to do, and it’s just awful. We are not okay with it and out of the MANY people I know who also have mental disabilities (including when I went to a camp for Tourette’s syndrome) everyone last one of them wishes they didn’t have mental disabilities.
