A typical divorce lawyer costs 150-300$ HOURLY. Now rack that up to hundreds of hours of "labor" on part of the lawyers and that stacks up fast. While a typical private eye will be 50-150$ Hourly, which on the higher end will be the same as a low end divorce lawyer. They typically can get the information they need within a week, which can stack up to probably 10-30 hours of work 50 at most if they are really dedicated or determined on screwing a person by inflating the time they spent investigating.

Beyond that, I commented that the husband is far better off without their toxic femininity in his life. The daughter slandered him with the lie, the wife slandered him with her (unwitting) collusion. I think this is pretty cut-and-dried commentary.
