Literally… pride used to mean ‘you shouldn’t hate yourself for being gay. It is okay to like the same sex, and you shouldn’t be persecuted for that.’ Now people take it as ‘gay=good, straight=bad’. It’s ridiculous. Straight people and gay people are equal and always have been? Honestly, it is too much, when people are automatically associated with this type of degraded behavior JUST because they are gay. And I see the young people (the alphabet ones, not regular gay people) just running full speed into this. Grants Pass is my hometown. I have been living out of state to get my degree, and when I tell you my relief at hearing that the city has the chance to fix part of their homeless problem? I remember visiting last year and being shocked at how many homeless people and how few children there were at the parks and playgrounds I grew up on. They passed a bill that homeless people could sleep in parks to give them a place to go after sundown and before sunrise. I believe that homeless people should have a place to go, but this wasn't the right solution. One of my family members works with a service organization in town, and they have seen how there are many spots open in homeless shelters, but people aren't filling them because they would be required to be clean and sober to live in a shelter. The drug culture in Grants Pass is insane, and so many homeless people refuse to give up their drugs. I'm glad to know that they may be adjusting that law about homeless people in public spaces because it means my family and friends might be able to take their children to the beautiful parks again. Also it was way cool to hear Amala talk about my home!

Driving laws states that even if a pedestrian is in the wrong you are supposed to yield to pedestrian on crosswalk. That’s bad! And he had marijuana and without his medical marijuana card he also could have gotten in trouble. This cop was so chill and nice. And why? Well I think Taraji’s son from the camera footage was also very calm and not aggressive. He didn’t act in a way that would make an officer feel unsafe and thus more inclined to use more forceful means. He complied with instructions and remained calm and respectful. He even didn’t even give the son a citation but a warning.

You need the context to understand the signals the moderator was making. Biden had finished speaking and Trump began to respond, but his mic was muted and the other moderator started with the next question, so she tried to let him know that Trump wanted to add something last.

That doesn’t seem likely though since they’re given limits on their answers

@@Kittycretacious Well, in the end they let them go back and forth on the topic of golf, so they could let him respond if they wanted. 🤷🏻♀️

I feel so bad for Joe. But he’s not fit. They are telling that man what to think and feel. And they want to keep using him for their ideas and to get things that other people would never allow. He’s clearly a puppet. And he just needs to retire. He’s too old and he can’t keep up with the stress and expectations. You can tell he’s trying but he can’t do it

Seeing the match up of joe talking 2019 to now makes me actually wonder if he suffered a stroke at some point? I don't even mean this in an insult kind of way I legit am wondering if that happened.

I know nothing about a plantation…. Why would I run when I laugh because of something I never experienced😭😭. Maybe it’s just no self control when you’re excited or joyful. I’ll take that over saying it’s plantation ancestry vibes 😭😭.

Now if you tell me I have anxiety because of the abuse I endured at home from another black women (my mom). Someone im an actual victim to then sure! That is more logical. But non existent abuse that happened before my time and has died out has no affect on my laughing behavior

Yup! Like the 100s of democrat think tank bs proposals....this is a conservative proposal by one right leaning think tank! There are 100 left leaning think tanks to one right leaning think tank - meaning 100 more dark money donors on the left vs on the right! It's disgusting what these people trying to pull!

There’s just a bunch of people out there that want to do what they want when they want and never want to get caught by police so they’ll say anything to avoid accountability and embarrassment for their actions. It doesn’t matter how it affects anyone else in society.

I remember the Contract with America also drawn up by the Heritage foundation in the 90s. It was largely adopted and I can't remember one affect it had on me, my family or my community as blacks. The only difference was there was no social media influences to scare Dem voters about it.
