The major key is taking your time and trying to remove as much of the cauliflower water as possible. Then cook until the doneness you enjoy. Have fun!!!

Thank you for the feedback. Be sure to make sure to pay attention to removing as much water as you can. So important to the texture. Enjoy!

Rather than squeeze out the water, I'd prefer to fry it out....! Just easier.

I use the frozen cauliflower rice and cook the water out on the stove on a low heat for about 10 minutes. Let it cool then add egg and cheese.

Can I use Air Dried Cauliflower Powder to make the pizza crust ?
@sarahstrong71745 жыл бұрын
Add a little bouillion powder to that cauliflower juice & warm it a little, a grind of back pepper & you have a soup to start your meal.

I am looking for a really keto friendly crackling crispy doh... ...so I was waiting to hear that sound...

Would it help to keep the crust crispy to brush it with egg white, like I do with pies before adding the sauce and other toppings ? I'm getting the ingredients today and I'm anxious to try it tonight. Thank you for this video !

would it work if you just put the cauliflower in a pan and dry sauteed it? wouldnt the water come out?
@butter-n-thyme7 жыл бұрын
Your thought process is solid, yet wouldn't work for this style of ingredient transformation we are looking for. The key is removing the water from the cauliflower, taking your time squeezing it out. If we can be of help, please message back...butternthyme@gmail.com

I thought about this some more from a question I received lately. You could cook it off in the oven, or even the way you suggested. Just don't cook it too much. The idea is to start the cooking process to help with removing the water. Make sense? Here to help any way we can. Take care...

That's a great point. Been awhile since I shot that video. I do try to include more "money shots' in the videos to show you the end results better.

do I need a microwave?
@butter-n-thyme7 жыл бұрын
No, you could use the oven to par-bake the cauliflower. It's a matter of getting the cauliflower cooking process started so it's easy to remove the water. Is that helpful?
@isabelrodriguez29873 жыл бұрын
Very healthy! I would skip the microwave part... keep 100% healthy.

You didn't show it after it was done. Half inch is thick. We made one a quarter inch thick. It was not crisp.

Grr. Why does EVERY recipe on YT have mind-grindingly irritating "music" in the background?
@butter-n-thyme7 жыл бұрын
Hmm...Seems pretty normal...Can't say I remember watching a commercial or cooking show on tv that didn't have music in the background either...
