I wanted to comment since I come again and again to this recipe. I have made this for fish and also for chicken and not only it has never failed me, it’s the most consistent recipe I have tried that no matter what the results are always amazing. There has not been a time when I have made this recipe and my guests haven’t finish the whole batch, whatever it is. I wanted to thank you a lot, lot. You did an amazing job in here!

I used to work at fish & chips shop in Scotland & their Fish batter main secret is 100 gram rice flour & 100 gram plain flour mixture with 70 ml Cold Vodka & 110 ml Cold Dark Ale/Beer in to Fish batter mixture with 1 spoon honey & little salt... keep it in to fridge for 30 mins. Take out from fridge. take cod/haddock fish , dry it out & dip in to dry plain flour, then dip in to fish batter mix & fry it on 360 degree •F. . Enjoy & give it a try at home & enjoy with your family & friends, please don't forget to give me blessing ...Please...Remember me in your prayers...Thank You & love you all..

This is hands-down the absolute best fish/chicken fry batter I've ever had. Seriously...Coming from a southern boy who grew up in Alabama, I've had plenty of fried food to formulate this opinion, And this...? Just wow! Fantastic! I will say that my girlfriend is highly allergic to gluten. So I actually substitute 1/2 cup potato starch, 1/2 cup corn flour, and 1/2 cup of Pamela's all-purpose pancake mix. And hot damn is it incredible! Thanks again for sharing!
