Hi there! Yes, you can omit the breadcrumbs for the 2nd dipping, but the mushrooms just won't be as crunchy. 🙂

Anyone who uses Panko Breadcrumbs are for the Culture Of Superior Flavor, & _Crunchyness_ ....I say this with the experinece of my eyes only.... so far, I will meet it in battle, God Willing!

That sounds like a great alternative! I'll need to try that next time instead of Panko! :D As long as they're crushed fine enough, that should work. :)
