If you have an air fryer, you can cook it there (instead of cooking in oil). I'm not completely sure of the timing, but 5 minutes at 450 seemed to work pretty well.

I asked my grandma to make these this morning and as I type I'm eating this and it is so good 😋 I would definitely recommend the only hard part about it is the prep and then it's all up hill it only takes like 3-5 minutes to fry them

Tried it without the breadcrumbs step, works and tastes great! I'm terrible at wrapping and I used pre-frozen wholemeal bread. Takes less than 1 min to fry each side (I did 4 times). Great recipe and would do it again! Edit: forgot to add I used olive oil at lesser quantity than in the vid, so frying time may differ

I tried and this work deliciously! I'm so glad. Tips, since the roll is easy to be undone (the egg not sticky enough), fried it on one side long enough till brown, then flip it after that so it doesn't became a mess and the insides still intact

@Caroline W It will work better next time if you make sure your bread is rolled nicely flat, so it can't "poof back up" and that you use egg sealant on three sides (see video) and make sure that there are no cracks, which will allow oil to seep in and disassemble the dog. Also, turn it constantly, which ensures even cooking, instead of leaving it on one side to brown, and then flipping it. (It's slightly more work but this ensures it won't burn, and it ensures a better end product.) Hope this all helps!
