Crispy Paneer

Save karlo kaam main aayega
Crispy Paneer
250 gm Panner
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp corn starch
Oil for frying
For the sauce
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp chopped onions
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp each chopped red & yellow peppers
2 tbsp chopped capsicum
6-7 tbsp light soy sauce
If using regular soy sauce then 3-4 tbsp should work
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1 tbsp corn starch slurry
To finish
2 tbsp chopped spring onions
Dash of lemon juice
Method
1. Cut the Panner into cubes, seasonw ith salt and pepper and then coat with the corn flour.
2. Deep fry the Panner in oil till golden and crisp and remove.
3. For the sauce heat oil in a kadai or wok and fry the onions, garlic and chillies fro 30 seconds.
4. Next add the peppers and fry for another 30seconds.
5. Now add the lite soup sauce and stock or water and bring to a boil.
6. Check the seasoning and add some chilli flakes, thicken the sauce with the cornstarch slurry and then add the paneer.
7. Toss well and finish with some spring onions and serve

i thought it would be a hassle to make but it was surprisingly easy!! ended up tasting exactly like store-bought chilli paneer! loved it! what I did to make it easier was to just fry the paneer in the pan as is and add all the ingredients in the same pan- (i also didn't have any cornstarch so I used the knorr honkkong noodle soup as it was mostly starch and also had Chinese flavours so it didn't clash with the flavours of the dish)

Sooo i was on this short for like an hour almost and as i work from home i was doing all this during my break so i was in rush .by mistake i did not apply cornflour and and pepper on paneer and i directly fried them in oil 😂😂😂 so they became lil crunchy and then i did all this just to realise i forgot to include lemon in my blink it order ,thinking itin freezer already 😢😢😢. Butttt theee best part isss it turned out to be very very tastyyyyyy🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍i loveeeeed it
