Crikey... 190+bpm for those last few laps. Fair play, that's an impressive work rate. Congrats on the 6th place. That guy that broke away on the 6th lap, he did well.

Hey Ryan, thanks! Yeah, that was a nice breakaway win. Those don’t seem to happen often at Crit City but always fun to see it work

Glad you're on the road back to normal after being sick that long! You had a great ride and finished 6th! It's obvious you gave it all you had, as you were explaining about your heart rate. You rode that race with all heart too. Well done!

Hey, thanks Linda! I’m hoping the HR will come back to normal once I get some more rides in

Hey thanks, I’ve enjoyed your videos and maybe I’ll run into you in a race soon. Yeah, that HR was higher than I’ve seen in at least a year, so I’m not quite sure what to make of it.

@@CaedmonCyclingthanks mate! Would be great to jump into a race soon. It’d be interesting to see where we are vs when we raced last time, I think you’d probably get the better of me!

Welcome back Dude!! You are BACK!!!! GREAT EFFORT!!! Hopefully, I will see you soon in a race, but not too soon because I've been promoted to A grade, which I'm not too keen about.

Hey congrats! I did see at least you got a nice podium for the race you got upgraded. Can’t say I hope to see you up there soon as I have a lot of work to do in B still, but I’m sure we’ll cross paths eventually 👍

Yeah, legs felt good and HR was high, but felt okay. Not quite sure what to make of it. I haven’t seen my HR hit 196 in at least a year.

You were kind enough to drop me a "kudo" while we were both riding back on February 20. If it were possible to frame such a thing, it would be the wall of my cardio cave right now! Thanks! Feel better soon.

Holy moley that's a high heart rate. I usually race in the low 140s, but I'm 54yrs old so there's that lol. :)

I haven’t hit 196 in a couple years, I guess it’s just because I was fresh. Now need to gain some endurance to keep that HR down 😅
@Maarten1985
@Maarten1985 9 ай бұрын
High heart rate could mostly just be freshness. It will settle down with a bit more fatigue in the body. Great effort.
@CaedmonCycling
@CaedmonCycling 9 ай бұрын
Yeah, it definitely could be. Even though it was high, it felt manageable.

I think the green/blue highlight is for people you follow on Zwift. So if a friend joins a race, they’ll get highlighted too.

Incredible performance when you have so high HR for so long time! What is your max HR? 195 or so?
@CaedmonCycling
@CaedmonCycling 8 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks! This is the highest I’ve seen my HR in the last year or so. So 195 is probably right around my max

Why do you not have the steering and Zwift play on your bike? Didnt you get it a long time ago? Just curious
@CaedmonCycling
@CaedmonCycling 9 ай бұрын
Hey! I did and I still have them, just haven’t used them recently. I had connection issues when I first got them which caused issues in a few races. I probably need to try them again! I know steering would definitely help in races
