I only have a bare-bones DVD of this movie, but love it and have read the book (years ago). And you're right, Knopfler's music is great. Both the instrumental and lyrical "Storybook Love" main theme is one of the best romantic themes I've ever heard.

Wow Dave. Less then 24 hrs after a request you post a video? Inconceivable!! Thanks a lot. I’m taking a collecting break to catch up with the titles in my collection. I realized while the movies look great on the shelf, I should actually make a point of watching what I own. I bought ‘Rebecca’ and ‘Notorious’ from Criterion over a year ago. I’m a huge Hitchcock fan and hadn’t watch either of these. Do you have a favorite Hitchcock movie? Be it in Criterion or not.

Both of those seem to make the "lesser" Hitchcock list, but I think they're both great. On some days, "Rebecca" is my favorite Hitchcock film for its sheer acting talent and gothic atmosphere alone.

Hi Robert. Thanks again for the suggestion. Loved this latest rewatch. I am also a big Hitchcock fan. One of my top favorites is “Shadow of a Doubt”. A few years ago, I took an online free class on Hitchcock sponsored by TCM and really got into his filmography. 😀
