Moments like this speak so much to the skill of a DM, to be able to hold a conversation with yourself and not muddle the NPCs motives & dialogue, all so a watching player can learn aspects of the narrative that would remained hidden otherwise, so goood

The betrayal and hurt in this moment, but still knowing he cares with the "you should try friends sometime" was NGH. The conflict. The pain. Such a great moment.

This is one of those scenes that just doesn't register in my mind because it was a Con episode. I know a lot of people enjoy the con episodes, either because they get to be there and vocalize, or because there's an audience to react, but I personally don't like them because the crowd can be auditory ASSHOLES. Still remember the funny parts tho
