In Bruges. Perfect film. First film I thought that put Colin on the map as a legitimate actor.

It's spelt Tatty Anna because she's Scottish
@beardedbjorn55203 жыл бұрын
@@Brownie-ms6sv she’s Russian
@Brownie-ms6sv3 жыл бұрын
@@beardedbjorn5520, she's not actually real, she's just a running joke in the Drinkers videos. If you want to imagine her as a beautiful Russian that's fine. I prefer to think of her as a middle aged Scottish woman with most of her teeth missing that works as a stripper in a seedy bar on the wrong side of town. And the name Tatty Anna suits that image perfectly.
@beardedbjorn55203 жыл бұрын
@@Brownie-ms6sv Mate, I know she isn't real. I've been a subscriber long before she was a recurring gag. Tatianna is a Russian woman of "unknown immigration status" at Drinker local strip club. It's the lore my dude, as Drinker has mentioned many times lmao
@Brownie-ms6sv3 жыл бұрын
@@beardedbjorn5520 It doesn't really matter either way. Tatty Anna is just a joke started by someone in the comments section a while back, but for some reason you felt the need to correct it. Describing it as part of the 'lore' is taking things a bit too seriously I'd say.

Drinker: "The world is not your personal safe space and is not designed to accommodate all your ridiculous issues and insecurities" This is possibly the best line I've ever heard wrt to the current climate in Hollywood (and in gaming for that matter), no wonder so few of the movies that try to do this have a plot or script that functions properly.

37:35 -- RE: Comedy and Tragedy, and the Two Masks -- Hey Drinker, you astoundingly loquacious drunkard, you, I think AZ's point regarding the two masks is only the tip of the iceberg about why tragedy and comedy belong together. Would you consider doing a review of "Zorba the Greek"? The reason I mention it is because the character of Zorba specifically addresses the role that catharsis plays for the Human Condition, but this illustration is not strictly limited to comedy and tragedy. In General, all human Art has the potential to speak to the human condition; specifically, tragedy and comedy have proven to be the most popular.

24:23 This likely has some crossover appeal for this audience I would think. Scott Manley did a video on the science around this. Drinker! RE: the concept for pairing booze and movies - how about, instead, pick hard-drinking movies and drink along with what the heroes in the movies drink! EG Withnail and I, Leaving Las Vegas, Blue Velvet, Casablanca, and by all means Barfly ..... and, Under The Volcano! All these movies feature TONS of drinking. (Oh even "Sideways" the wine movie! And, "Bottle Shock" another great wine movie!)

FF8 is easily the weakest of the PSone Final Fantasy's. Fortunately FF9 which followed is the best.
@dangamer88843 жыл бұрын
FF9 is stupidly overrated with its dumb jump rope mini-game, overrated story, and the stupid Excalibur II requirements. FF 7 is better and FF 8 is a lot of fun with all of the ways you can play around with the mechanics and even manipulate the RNG. Triple Triad was a blast too. FF 7 > FF 8 > FF9 and I'll fight anyone on that. Also, FF13, for all of its flaws, had the best combat system in the series. Sick of FF know it alls who don't know what they're talking about
