When they released this song and MV I cried so much because of the references to their struggles and "scandals." GD - struggles with depression, loneliness bc of too much fame and overall media scrutiny of his personal life TOP - he's scared of people getting close to him physically and emotionally. he is also actually infamous for being uncomfortable with showing much skin and is always covered from head to toe; also struggled so much with depression and anxiety, but that came into light much later Seungri - have had multiple scandals with women, including one he was with who secretly took a photo of him sleeping (dating is a huge deal in kpop). he said it jokingly but he mentioned he is wary of sleeping around people bc of this Daesung - involved in a terrible traffic accident where someone died but was in no way his fault, either way people judged him harshly and he halted his activities in Korea for a while because of this. i also strongly believe this is the reason he never released much solo music in Korea and instead focused on Japan Taeyang - very much scandal free and loved by the general public, but in this MV he referenced his struggles with his beliefs in religion and trying to always do the right thing If you read the lyrics and watch the MV, this hits too close to home. Especially with the issues that TOP and Seungri faced later on after this album, it just goes downhill from there.

Daesung's personal story makes me cry. Unfortunately, someone lost their life. It's heartbreaking seeing the Korean public call him a murderer. Even to this day, people will still bring up the incident for hate fuel against BigBang. He definitely hasn't been the same since. It makes sense why he is more comfortable promoting in Japan. GD's loneliness hits home for those with trust issues. It's not a secret that he finds it hard to make friends & develop relationships. When you're that famous, you never know if the feelings are genuine or are people trying to get close to him to boost their networking. I stan these men because they help us realize that the grass is not always greener on the other side. Take away their fame & fortune and they are just human beings with desires and dreams.

To this day, Daesung has no social media presence because of all the hate he still gets. Even the family forgave him. He went to the funeral. He didn't have to but he did and bowed to them. They forgave him, most people have forgiven him, and I hope he has forgiven himself.

Seungri was sitting on Sehun from EXO. He is maknae of EXO and Seungri became friends with Sehun after this. Who else but BIGBANG can pull anything like this on award shows? XD Actually at that time korean VIPs and Exo-Ls/EXO's fandom/ were always at each other's throat but after Seungri sat on Sehun's lap and became friends they stopped fighting. In G-Dragon's part..., he feels alone and depressed. Although he has money and fame, he becomes lonely as he does not have anyone by his side. His part also goes, "I was always alone. It's been a long time since I've forgotten about love." Taeyang was confused and had doubts with his faith. The cross he drew said "Sin Will Find You." His part goes, "I hold out my hand, but no one holds it," just like in GD's case, he was alone and did not know where he should go to ask for help. At the end, he loses his battle against his own self and commits suicide where you see him falling off the building. T.O.P. on the other hand was shown to be a womanizer. "Love them for one night, and hate then when the morning comes." The two girls were also wearing white, signifying that T.O.P. also views them as objects. When they started to touch him and his things, he got mad and killed them which is why you see him covered in blood while he is walking through the alley. He breaks down as he started to realize what he has done and what he has lost. Daesung was being bullied which makes him feel like a loser. "At some point I've gotten scared of people's eyes," he becomes afraid of what people would do to him. While looking at the mirror, he decides to fight back although he knows that he was not going to win. Seungri still chases after his ex-girlfriend who already has found someone new. He becomes obsessive, calling her every now and then. At the end, the five members all gave in to their personal struggles, thus becoming 'Losers" in their own ways. Founded this comment somewhere.. About Daesung, before some people misinform you this is what happened. In 2011, a drunk man was driving a motorcycle in the highway, and he crashed headfirst into a light pole around 1 or 2 am. A taxi driver saw it and stopped his car to help. The man landed in the middle of the road. A car that was coming, saw the man in the middle of the road last minute and changed lanes quickly. Daesung was driving behind the car that changed lanes so he didn't see the man lying in the middle of the road and hit him. Because he hit him, he lost control of his car and crashed against the taxi driver. When Daesung got out of the car, he still hadn't even realized he hit someone lying in the middle of the road until the taxi driver told him. (BTW, this is all according to the taxi driver's testimony). The man died and the police investigated Daesung and considered charging him for the death of the man. Ultimately, they said there was no way to tell if Daesung's car killed him or if he was already dead from crashing head first. The public immediately started calling Daesung a murderer, the media tried to say he was probably drinking or that YG was trying to cover the case and pay everyone off. Daesung felt responsible, so he personally went and talked to the man's family, he paid all the expenses and reached a settlement (even though I'm pretty sure he wasn't legally required to do so). The media put out interviews with some of the man's family members that said Daesung never went to the funeral, he never paid anything, etc. They also went to interview the parents when they were still distraught, plus they were sick and allegedly said bad things too. The brother of the man who died had to step up and set things straight and said the media was lying. But the public didn't care, they even made petitions for Dae to kill himself...to this day they still call him a murderer (this includes international Bigbang antifans who haven't even been into kpop long). During this time, Daesung became very depressed b/c he felt responsible, he thought about killing himself b/c that's what the public was asking him to do and he really withdrew from everyone. Luckily, he started spending all his time at his church and talked to the members and YG and they got through it. In 2012, Bigbang made their comeback and included was a solo by Daesung called Wings that GD wrote for him b/c Dae said he wanted a song that could provide strength to people.

Seungri was sat in the lap of a member of EXO - the other massive group at that time. In doing this he single handedly stopped a fan war between VIP and EXOLs. And well done for recognising Paris, the choreographer. Also remember this is the same award show that GD dissed a year before. Please can you react to Bigbang MMA 2015 (different award show.) This performance is in 2 videos as it is so long, so Intro + If You + Loser one first. This performance was possibly even more of a party, and they even had to do an encore - at an award show which is virtually unheard of! Bigbang are really the kings! Great reaction!

MADE is an amazing album. Listen to it and experience eargasm. Don't worry about GD. I think he's in a better place now. There was even a post that he actually did suicide prevention talks while in the military. At least now, he get to rest cause he worked his ass of for the past 10 years, for BIGBANG and his solo career. As a VIP, I just wish each member happiness. I hope that despite all the controversies and hassle brought by fame, they won't forget their original intention - their love for music and the stage. Nevertheless, VIPS will continue supporting them as long as they release new music.

You missed T.O.P's violence towards the woman and possibly he has killed her at the end. Seungri was referencing a woman he dated, who was using him to cover her real relationship and sadly TAEYANG's real dog pictured here passed soon after. The song is about the struggle not only of the group but also in the Korean culture of self loathing and how can that can sometimes lead to suicide. T.O.P has two suicide attempts and has famously struggled with depression, panic attacks and issues surrounding showing any skin or being touched. This song/mv is amazing for it's honesty. Glad you took the time to address what feelings could be triggered by it.

Loser MV theory: 1. G-Dragon is himself. His tattoo reads truth + dare, perhaps daring to tell the truth? From the beginning where he is in an elevator after a concert going up to yet another hotel room in a city that is far from home with no one. All alone. He has written many songs about his loneliness and in this video with the drawn noose on his sideburn, the butterfly knife, and the bat..he is thinking of hurting himself, possibly killing himself, laying down in the middle of the road almost begging to be killed so he can be done and still no one sees him or his pain. 2. Taeyang, the most religious of the group, is seen making a cross that reads, Sin Will Find You. He draws it on the ground. His only companion is his dog (side note that is his real dog, who died shortly after this video was shot) and his art. At the end, his sin is suicide, he jumps off the building, at the end laying in the cross that he drew. 3. Seungri, had just recently found out a woman he was involved with, to the point of going to her mother to introduce himself and possibly commit to, was using him. She was with someone else, that her parents might not approve of, and telling everyone that she wasn't with Seungri but telling Seungri she was with him. His frustration and rage is palpable. Also, in real life just before the MADE album dropped something similar happened to Seungri with a girl and it was only through a friend of GD's that he discovered she was seeing someone else. 4. Daesung, a few years before had been involved in a traffic accident where he ran over someone who may or may not have already been dead.A motorcyclist who had crashed into a pole while driving drunk. He was told over and over again, online and in the media, that he was a murderer and that he should kill himself. Even after the police cleared him of wrongdoing (there had been no way to avoid hitting the victim) he was still told to do the "honorable" thing and take his own life. To this day, he doesn't have social media because the hatred was so intense. The victim's family convinced him to go back to his music and to live well. Here in the video he is literally getting the crap kicked out of him and even when he tries to fight back he is still defeated. 5. The most problematic, TOP....oh this part has caused a lot of controversy over the years...TOP suffers from pretty extreme panic disorder and has had an almost pathological need to be completely covered from head to toe with no skin showing. His own bandmates had very rarely seen him without clothes on. As the years of fame, surrounded by people who literally want to tear his clothes off, have gone on...we've seen him to the point of flinching when any of his skin was revealed or touched. You can see him in interviews clutching on to Daesung or Taeyang to stop his panic. Cut to the video, everything in his home is covered with sheets, so that no one can touch anything, not even him. There are several girls in these shots, that he has one night stands with, because you can't be intimate with someone you don't know. When the girl tries to undress him you see him remove her finger with disgust. Then another girl tries to uncover something and he reacts violently. Grabbing her by the chin and walking her backwards. And yes, it is abuse. He puts his gloved hand on her. He's allowing us to see what it is he truly fears from intimacy, that if he lets anyone really see him/touch him/become intimate...he will hurt them. I think many men have this fear. Then later, and this is controversial, but some of us think, he killed one. He's covered in blood walking in alley in his pajamas and slippers...He's the biggest loser of all of them. He's got that Scorpio temper and panic disorder and fear of intimacy and now there's no going back, he has done the unforgivable. A few years ago, he was involved in a marijuana scandal (super illegal in S. Korea, they think of it as if it is crack) and was facing prison time. After his arrest he was found unconscious, having taken an overdose of his psych meds and sleeping pills. He was in a coma for a few days. When he recovered, he apologized to his fans and to his mother for his selfishness and he was sentenced to probation and dismissed from the military. He then did his service by working in a museum, teaching children how to make ceramics. Leading a life out of the spotlight for the most part for two years. I tell you all this so you have a context of understanding the support that TOP gets from VIPs. Since his release, TOP has been seen wearing unbuttoned shirts, shaking hands with people without gloves and generally not appearing to be suffering as much with his mental problems. So perhaps in this video, really showing his fears, his self-hatred, and his despair he had started the healing necessary to being a healthy artist and human being. Who else but Big Bang would allow their audience to see their human foibles?!? AND have everyone singing along?! Knowing that they may be super talented but they are just like all of us, human and flawed, has only increased their audience. fun fact: yes TOP has the most sensual/ steamy part in Loser MV (i mean: the skinny dipping part with the woman) but in real life he doesnt like the feeling of skinship.. or something's touching his skin😅😅 that's why if you notice he's wearing gloves on the MV.. and if you pay attention on their videos he's always covered thick clothes hahahaha.. suit+ coat+ gloves .. you barely see him wear ripped jeans.. also if you watched their dance practices.. he's wearing coat when its not even appropriate for dance practice.. even in "we like to party" mv.. he's wearing his robe when he jumped into the pool.. the members once said, they went to the beach and everybody's shirtless and on shorts while TOP still wearing his clothes plus socks🤣🤣
