FYI, the Golden State Warriors logo features the eastern span of the Bay Bridge, opened in 2013. The Bay Bridge connects San Francisco with Oakland and the east bay. The old "The City" logo used when the team played in San Francisco included the Golden Gate bridge. Assume they will keep the current logo when they move back to SF in a few years.

Fun facts about the Bucks logo, the antlers form a basketball and the cream color represents the cream colored bricks that were used to build Milwaukee, hence the Cream City.

6:04 Grizzlies was one of the names on the short-list for Toronto's team - Toronto and Vancouver coming into the league at the same time. Other names on that list were The Towers (for the CN Tower, at the time the world's tallest structure) and The Dragons (Toronto having one of North America's largest Chinatowns, as well as a large Chinese population.) with Raptors below all of those. However, even though the name has grown on local fans now, it was felt by many that not only the name (because Barney was still popular back then) AND the colours - turning away from the traditional double-blue of the Maple Leafs, Blue Jays, and CFL Argos and going with purple and teal because those were the 'in colours' that season - were forced on the city by the suits in NYC. Grizzlies was giving to Vancouver as an afterthought consolation prize, and moved with them when they left Vancouver.
