CRJ-1000 in xPlane 12 | Latest Plane Given Check Ride. UNPAID REVIEW!

We're gonna take the Latest Plane for Xplane 12 for a test flight. Hitting the stores a couple days ago, I'm gonna give you my honest thoughts and share whatever happens in the Bombardier CRJ1000 - a regional jet aircraft that was designed and built by the Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace. A stretched version of the CRJ-900, with a longer fuselage, and increasing seating capacity to 100 PAX. As of yet, no cargo (or baggage) options exist - hopefully something they'll sort out, seen as there's about 3-4 cargo doors.
Honest thoughts and impressions are hard to come by, between AI generated articles and paid off sponsors who rarely declare such - and because I'm not paid to do this, I had to buy it like everyone else, I get to say what I really think, rather than just say "it's amazing, wow! it's amazing" over and over like a broken record, hoping those behind the aircraft will give me the next one free, and a slice of the total sales (don't forget to enter the special code!! lol). Sure if people are above board, and upfront - hey such and such asked me to make a video and provided it free, and I get a cut of the sales if you purchase through my link - No problem with that, everyone knows - but proclaiming to "review" when really it's an "advert" that's invested in getting more sales. should get a strike imo.
The CRJ-1000 has a range of approximately 1,691 nautical miles (3,133 km). It is powered by two General Electric CF34-8C5 turbofan engines, each producing 13,360 lbf of thrust. Using Latest version of Xplane 12 as of Mid-March 2023 (ver 12.03) Yesterday (9th March 2023) I attempted a livestream with this aircraft, and it had all sorts of problems, it just refused to work properly. Today those difficulties somehow resolved (the magic of trying again tomorrow I guess!)

The FMC is the xplane default FMC because the autopilot is undergoing some custom autopilot work. After, a custom FMC will come. Also, 500ft AGL, SPD mode, NAV mode enabled, 1,000ft, CLB thrust set.. Just thought I would help out

This aircraft does not use INS, they use GPS, so no need to align at preflight

How did you disconnect throttles as mine goes crazy as I land I can't get throttles down

You need to install the skunkcrafts updater tool (silly name,I know). You get it from a Google search, via the Xplane org site. Download it, and put into your Xplane plugins folder (I think Xplane resources plugins - going off memory). Then start Xplane, load a standard little Cessna or something default, and in you plug-in menu, you'll see skunkcrafts updater, open in there, and the rest should start and make sense

This CRJ cockpit interior looks like something from FSX. ... actually the aerosoft CRJ in FSX had better looking cockpit.

Thank you for this recommendation. I'm compiling a top 5 aircraft for XP12, and this is the only aircraft I occasionally see spoken highly about I don't own.... I'm gonna have to get it before putting out my top5. It will appear on my new "internet flight rules" channel when it's ready to roll. Thanks again for the suggestion

Thankfully in more recent updates, the exec does now light up. I did an updated review for it, and I appreciate someone else confirming that it should light up!
