i need a schematic for my old M16-13Z. the pivot screw fell out, and the only remaining washers are a white plastic-y looking one and a much smaller, thicker yellow metal one. i'd like to see which one(s) go where. i just requested washers from CKRT replacement parts w/ the above info, so i should get the missing ones, i hope. Now to find out the proper placement. Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to make the secondary lock manual instead of automatic?

Hey CRKT I have one question for you! What's going on in regards to your Hootenany knife. You guys made the Hootenanny in "cpm s30v" almost what two years agos. But it was determined the blade steel was not cpm s30v, so you recalled every bad knife. So what now? Are you CRKT going to remake the Hootenanny in real cpm s30v, or did you just scrap that entire idea/project?

Hi Thomas, thank you for your question. In reference to the isolated incident of October 2016, we worked closely with the Knife Center team to address concerns on all fronts (including complete refunds to the customers who had purchased the model). We've also taken multiple steps to prevent a re-occurrence including (not limited to) - 1. Reconfirming specific supplier qualifications. 2. Developing an improved Quality Assurance process for all CRKT products. CRKT OFFICIAL Why are you not going to make the Hootenanny in cpm s30v and carbon fiber? If you fixed the way you do business with suppliers regarding making sure you're getting the correct steel, then what's the problem? Real serious knife people like myself usually don't buy CRKT knives because you usually use 8cr13mov or aus8, lower end budget blade steels. It would nice to see CRKT make knives with at least cpm s30v or better. That's why I'm a huge fan of Spyderco, they offer a ton of different knives in many different higher end steels. It would be nice to see someday CRKT step their game up and rise above the low budget end of the knive spectrum!!!!

Joel, piece of advise from a serious knife nut. CRKT should do a 2,000 piece exclusive run of a Hootenanny in CPM S30V or CPM S35VN and carbon fiber for either Knifecenter of Blade HQ. That would sell out in probably 10 minutes, you would make money for sure.

My m16-13z safety spring keeps coming loose. Would it be better to replace the safety or could there be another problem?

The worst thing about your knives is the auto lock. Everyone considers it an absolutely idiotic idea at every level. It's the first thing I removed. Ever wonder why no other quality manufacturers implement them? If you have a liner lock break it's your fault either for misusing the knife or you bought a shit knife from a shit manufacturer. Honestly makes me wonder why put it on in the first place.
