I like that you guys are branching out into knives and humidors. I love the BCM videos (those honestly never get old) but videos like this really show your flexibility and taste in the items you showcase and advertise. Keep up the great work, PP.

Excellent knife concept from James Williams, as usual. I like some of the sheath details as well. The adjustable tension screw is a great idea...I would have liked to see this on the Shinbu and Hisshou in particular,

Superb knife design and sheath too. Leather retains moisture kydex is much better for all weather conditions.

Dear James Williams, Your new Sakimori looks to be a nice addition to the family of the Hisshou and Shinbu. I plan on getting the Hisshou for when i join the Army, but if you new Sakimori is made from O1 tool steel, and has as many uses as you say it does then in my oppinion the Hisshou and the Shinbu would be mush better in O1 tool steel then YK-30.

It is a high honor indeed to be asked by the modern equivalent of the Samurai, JSDF to design a blade for them.

How would you go about carrying this blade in the front of the waistband like that?

what's funny about this is I thought the retention on my Shinbi was complete garbage so i put a screw in to tighten the openinnlg and now he is talking about it beaing jump rated I think they should come out with new sheaths for all of his line with that screw to replace the old ones FREE OF CHARGE.

please considder swithing the hisshou and shinbu to O1 tool steel or someother form of multi-use steel your friend, Redx2097

Yk-30 steel is very similiar to O1 so i dont think it makes much difference
