I fell asleep watching KZbin last night and the most wonderful thing happened: I woke up to one of your videos. I do not knit or crochet (I lean toward sewing, quilting and stained glass) but HAD to subscribe. The positivity, creativity and love you exude spoke to me. And book reviews too!!! You feel like a dear, good friend. Thank you for what you do. I am going to look forward to your content for so many reasons.

I've been crocheting and knitting for years, but I still watch your tutorials because I love the aesthetic. I love your use of beautiful colors and different types of fibers. I think if more people experimented with the vast array of fibers available it would help breathe new life into their crafting, especially with crochet. There is just something magical about branching out and trying new things, especially when your preferred craft gets boring and repetitive. Thank you for these great videos, and congratulations on your new Skillshare class.

This is EXACTLY what I need right now - I'm a pandemic crochet beginner and I bought a jacket pattern and yarn and then got scared of the stitch - especially all the joining of different colours, so the skill-share you give on the floats is perfect for me. Subscribed xx

@@TLYarnCrafts of course!! You are so thoughtful with your explanations and treat every video as if it is someone’s first ever time seeing crochet. Your Tunisian are especially great because of how different it is to regular crochet and not many people take the time to thoughtfully explain not only the how’s, but the why’s for every step. You’re awesome! 💪❤️

I taught myself to crochet years ago and wanted to make blankets like my grandma did. She passed when I was in 8th grade and was never able to pass down her knowledge to me. My mom always knew she used a different technique then regular crochet but didn’t know exactly what it was. Turns out it was Tunisian crochet and I’m so glad I found your channel to not only find beautiful crochet crafts but also learn Tunisian crochet that makes me feel closer to my grandma and I hope to be able to make work as beautiful as hers was! Thank you so much for sharing your craft!

Your explainations are so helpful! "Chain 2 TO rotate..." Thanks for telling us how you choose the order of your colors for this tricolor stitch. The continuation of the stitch for the border is beautiful, and the consistency of the pattern there makes the border an integral part of the piece. I might have expected a straight sc border, but the one you used is wonderful and simple. Your swatch makes me want to run out and grab yarn for a large project!

It's so ironic you are doing a SkillShare promo because that's how I discovered you in the first place! I loved your original class on SS and just knew you had to be on YT as well. You are a phenomenal instructor and have given me so much confidence (and addiction 😂) in the world of crochet. I cannot wait to try this technique out! If I can make a request, in a future video, could you go over project planning (such as sizing projects and calculating how much yarn one would need based on the different yarn weights and stitch used)? Many thanks!
