This is really so pretty. Thinking of denim blue background and white stars. I don't have red as a color in here but blue is a nice color with browns and tan. I think I'm going to save this too. It'll be a nice break.

Just beautiful Mikey, I love the way you explain things in this tutorial. Please, please show how it would look once you finished making ends flat. My heart begins to race as I am a very visual person ... i am asking well talking about the single stitch rows. Do I turn and go back to the other end or around the whole border? I use the ends of the yarn I've been crocheting with to stitch together the individual pieces. This cuts down on the number of ends you must hide in the fabric of the piece.
