So cute! Are there any other yarn you could recommend for this project? It seems the yarn used in this video is being discontinued.

I haven’t had to buy any in a while but there is a yarn that several brands make that is for creating scrubbies that has a similar texture. I have made quite a few that are just random scrap acrylic and cotton yarns that turn out awesome.

This pattern is amazing! I do have a question though. I dont know how to make the strings that close up the pufferfish's mouth (im a beginner). Could you give me some tips on that? Thanks in advance

For the strings you just make a chain of about 80. You can do one strand or two to make it a little stronger then weave them in and out with about 3 stitches in between. Does that help?
