Pattern (US Terms): Magic ring R1: 6sc (6sts) R2: inc (12sts) R3: inc, sc (18sts) R4: inc, sc x 2 (24sts) R5: inc, sc x 3 (30sts) R6: inc, sc x 4 (36sts) R7: inc, sc x 5 (42sts) R8: inc, sc x 6 (48sts) R9 to R22: sc all around (48sts) Sew onto clasp.

Just found your tutorial. It has been very helpful. I am wondering what I am doing wrong, though. Mine doesn't have the nice creases on the sides and lays very awkwardly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Great video Mary....I have a pack of 10 clasps, all different colours.....I have Sugar and Cream cotton as well.....do you have to use cotton as I have some blended cottons...x

Hi there .... cotton blends should be just fine as they won’t stretch too much. It’s a ‘close’ stitch so they should be just fine ... enjoy 🥰🥰👍

I have on my handles only 14 holes on each side of my handle So do I just increase too 24 please

Hi there … you would need to increase to 30 stitches in total (14 for each side and 1 either end of clasp) If you get to 24 stitches, on the next round, increase 6 times evenly around until you have 30 in total 👍🧶👛

Hi there Deborah .... that stitch is just left and allows the purse to open fully ..... as I’m using the cotton yarn it doesn’t seem to stretch at all 🥰👛xxx

Hi there Sue .... I would recommend a ‘cotton’ yarn as it won’t stretch like other yarns .... the yarn in the video from memory is ... Scheepjes ‘Chalista’ cotton 🧶🧶
