I’ve tried multiple patterns for scrubbers and this one is my favorite. Not only is it simple, but I like the look and feel of it too. Thanks for your excellent video👍🏼bravo!!

I’ve made these on a similar pattern, but that KZbin went away. So glad to see yours. I use the larger hole nylon netting instead of the small hole tulle. I think it has more “grab”.

These are so durable. I was using the plastic "bun" shaped scrubbers that come 3 to a pack. They don't last long at all; they come uncoiled and the plastic breaks up. These nylon tulle scrubbers are a great alternative. Many thanks.

I just made one of the ball scrubbies and I love it. My very first one!!!! I really appreciate the step by step instructions!! I am so excited to get started on the others I want to make for my 5 daughters!! Now I can give them something I made for them for Christmas! I will also make myself some too, I love cleaning my dishes with them, I first use a scrub brush bought at the Dollar Tree, to get the nasty stuff that would maybe stick in my scrubby, then I use my scrubby and clean dishes, pans, or my sink!! So awesome! Thank you so much!!

Yay! I’m so excited you made one of these scrubbies!! They are my favorite. I personally use these scrubbies all the time in my own sink. Thanks for sharing!

I need to make these. I usually buy them from craft shows but I haven't been to one in some time. I have also seen them in square shapes, and multicolored. Thanks for sharing this pattern.

Tiffany, there is a video that shows how to cut a whole t-shirt into a ball of yarn in one cut. We could do that with a yard of Nylon netting that you’re using? That would be awesome!

Tiffany, I made these using the RH Scrubby yarn and love the round ones, which I flattened somewhat. The yarn was a bit challenging but I had so much fun making them. A relaxer for me.

Thank you so much for making a very clear, easy-to-follow video! I am a novice and needed everything that you so clearly showed. I will be purchasing a J hook and following the link to learn how to make the bigger size. I am looking forward to making scrubbies, using some and giving others as gifts.

great video! can you use this with non-stick pans? what about stainless steels, would it scratch the stainless steels?
@CrochetWithTiffany Жыл бұрын
I use these on non stick pans and they work great. Their tough but not like steal wool scrubs.

Ooo, I'm so excited! I wanted to make some of these after I used yours last month when I was there. I can't believe that one's been scrubbing it up for a *year!* Sponges barely last a few *months.* :-O Your scrubby was better than a sponge, honestly! Gonna make a few ASAP, if I can get the tule delivered. ;-p

These look amazing! I wanna make some now! I’m curious, what is the brand of the nylon tulle?
@CrochetWithTiffany Жыл бұрын
Great question. Actually, I don't think there is a brand... Just look for Netting. You want those big holes not the little holes. You want the material to feel rough and scratch not soft. The rough and scratchy make for THE BEST scrubbies! If you want to get the softer material those make amazing facial scrubs. 😊🧶❤️

Does it matter what direction you cut the tule in because the tule I have is stretchy in one direction and not in the other. It seems when I cut it in the stretchy direction it just tears when stretched too far but the other direction it doesn’t tear?
@CrochetWithTiffany Жыл бұрын
Interesting. The tool I used was not stretchy so I didn't have this issue. However, if you are noticing that the tearing happens more going in one direction than the other I would use that and only work in the direction that is stronger. 😊❤️🧶

My understanding is that "tulle " is the finer netting. The courser stuff you are using is usually just called nylon netting. You are right they definitely last longer than than the tulle (fine stuff) and sell great! I have been making and selling them for almost 30 yrs now!!! Can't keep them made up fast enough!
@CrochetWithTiffany4 жыл бұрын
Oh my gosh thank you so much for the clarification! I have never heard the difference between the two materials, just went with the name of the section 😄. I appreciate that, thanks! It's great to hear from another crochet vendor! I might reach out to you to talk about vendor stuff later on if that's alright with you. 🙂

Rambling Mountain Rose hi. I’m fairly new to crocheting just making hats and scarves. Would you mind suggesting what I should sell these for?
@RainbowRoseConnie4 жыл бұрын
Cozette Wendemu If you are asking about scarves and hats, I really haven't gotten into selling those (yet). But for the scrubbies, I usually get $3 each for them. 😊

It is hard to find this type of Tulle. Where did you get ii.
@CrochetWithTiffany4 жыл бұрын
Instead of Tulle Look up Matte Net. That actually works better than the Tulle. If you go to JoAnn.com and search for Matte Net you will get exactly what you are looking for. If you do not have a JoAnn's Fabric Store close to you you can also go to www.fabric.com. Hope that helps. 😊🧶🧡

@CrochetWithTiffany2 жыл бұрын
Hi Elizabeth! I completely understand. Did you know you can actually control how fast or slow my video plays? If you go to the settings of the video (on a phone/tablet this will be the 3 dots in the upper corner of the video. On a computer it will be just below the video and look like a gear ⚙️) click playback speed, you can control the speed of my video and ALL videos here on KZbin so that we can go at YOUR pace! It’s pretty cool. I hope you give it a try. 😊❤️🧶
