Hi I think I had an issue with making this one. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it. I followed the stitch exactly as stated. And it’s a lot smaller than the other months squares. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong or if it’s supposed to be different to the others.

The same happened to me. I had to frog the whole square. I think I’ll use a J hook for my2nd attempt

Fail. Even going up to a J hook, I’m still about 2 inches short.

Hi Kayla. I just love your channel. I'm doing you blanket cal n wanted to add patches to mine. What's the best way to get them to stick? Mine have the iron on stuff on the back but I really don't want to iron my blanket squares. Any other way? Thanks n take care

I normally use fabric glue for my patches. This way, especially since it's a blanket and will have lots of wear and tear it can be washed too!

So I understand it’s easier to show the stitch pattern on the channel in red but when do we switch to black? I am doing gradients of red and then I’ll be doing black, charcoal and grey gradients. So I’m just wanting to make sure to know when it’s time to switch.

Each square can be whatever color you'd like. I'm creating each stitch in a black and red color so I'll end up with 2 blankets. Then planning on alternating between the 2 colors when I assemble it all.

I have a question, Are all the squares supposed to be the sane size? Because so far, mine are not. Sorry I didn't know any other way to contact you.

They are suppose to be the same size. If some are different than others you can always block them out at the end. But each square is designed to be 23 by 23 inches

Anyone having trouble with the stitch count on the second row? Get to the end and have 3 stitches left not 2. I have frogged it many times and still not working c.😞😩

If you have 3 left you’re still correct. Skip one stitch, 2 sc in the next and sc in the last stitch🎃

does anyone have an approximate yardage for this one? Also, will you let us know which ones look better w/ more than one color??

Around 300 yds is used for each square with a worsted weight number 4 medium yarn. I'll definitely let ya know which stitch will have the option to use 2 different colors together.
