SUPER CUTE AND EASY! Crochet baby set with baby blanket, baby sweater cardigan and hat Fast and Easy Crochet Tutorial
This beautiful and easy Ellie crochet set includes a cardigan, sweater, coat, or jacket (shown in size 3-6 months), along with a matching baby blanket and hat. You can easily adjust the size of the cardigan by changing your hook and following the tutorial exactly as shown, using the same stitch count and number of rows. See below. Please note that these sizes are approximate and based on standard measurements. Individual tension may vary, which can slightly affect the final size.
Materials used for the baby cardigan:
Yarn: Premier Bamboo Joy #3 yarn (120g total for 3-6m size).
Comparable yarn: DK, #3, 8-ply yarn with similar weight with approx thickness of 3mm.
Hook size: 3.5mm
Button size: Three 13mm size buttons but you can also use 9, 10 or 11mm size.
Approx. Gauge: 2in = 5 rows/ 11 sts in DC pattern w/ 3.5mm hook and #3 yarn.
Materials used for the hat:
Yarn: Premier Bamboo Joy #3 yarn (120g total for 3-6m size).
Comparable yarn: DK, #3, 8-ply yarn with similar weight with approx thickness of 3mm.
Hook size: 3.5mm
Material used for the baby blanket:
Yarn used Premier Bamboo Joy #3 yarn (270g white, 200g yellow and 100g grey).
Comparable yarn: DK, #3, 8-ply yarn with similar weight with approx thickness of 3mm.
Hook size: 5mm
Finished size: Approx. 43in long x 46.5in wide including the border
TO MAKE SMALLER OR BIGGER:
NB use 2.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8 ply yarn
0-3M use 3mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
3-6M use 3.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
6-9M use 4mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
9-12M use 4.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
1-2yrs use 5mm hook with #4, aran or 10ply yarn
2-3yrs use 5.5mm hook with #4, ARAN or 10ply yarn
3-5yrs use 6mm hook with #4, ARAN or 10ply yarn
5-7yrs use 6.5mm hook with #4, ARAN or 10ply yarn

Do you start the sleeves with the sweater wrong side facing out?

It’s mentioned in the video in which side. You follow the pattern from which ever row you did last for the yoke.

The sweater is very pretty, but you didn't explain where to place the stitch markers very well at all. You went way too fast over splitting for the sleeves. Very confusing.
