I made this sleeping blanket. I enjoyed most of the time making it. The only problem I really had was making the hood. I didn't understand how. So I took it apart. Then I got it right.vit is so nice and I am proud of what I have done.

That's great well done crochet can often be trial and error my sister made a smaller one from thick yarn for her cat to sleep in the shed as he is an outdoor cat and prefers the outdoor life hahahah so she has 2 tucked on top of a shelf in the shed he loves to sleep in.

I stumbled over your website. You have wonderful patterns. But I have a problem. I got sent to a hearing specialist when I was 5 yrs old due to suspected loss of hearing. Severe ear infections over the years ate away the bones in my inner ear. I relate this for all new mothers to pay attention to fussy babies who keep rubbing their ears or get colds. Working antibiotics finally arrived when I hit adulthoods, but the damage was done, I lost complete hearing in left ear due to destroyed bones, and partial in the right is left. I am 70 yrs old now, retired, but lost almost all my hearing. Hearing aids were stolen by “helpers.” My problem is now not being able to understand low soft voices. I had a Scot boyfriend in college your voice sounds much like his mother’s. So I have a dual problem, voice too soft to hear well, and I have to work my way through your accent. What compounds it is so far, I can find no instructions in your various pattern videos included in printed on your videos. I have to see the piece you are working on to figure out quickly what you are doing. But often your hands cover the work. Most f what I crochet is done for charity. I’ve done hats, scarves, mittens for grade school children, donated them to schools that provided children with winter items who lost theirs or parents couldn’t afford to buy them. I’ve done baby blankets to go to maternity units in hospitals or for those in NICUs for preemies. Also have done lap afghans for wheelchair vets in veteran housing and hospitals plus hats/scarves. Leftover scraps, I’ve used up in granny squares for big afghans to gift to Good Neighbors, along with items mentioned above, that acts like a neighborhood Red Cross for those whose house burned down, flooded, tornado, etc. Switched fr squilting to crochet, occasionally knitting as not able to hold little needles any more. I’ve started looking thru each of your videos to see if you include any kind of print instructions, even if they are only at the bottom of the screen. Do you do videos that have some kind of printed instructions? You have beautiful patterns, some I’ve never seen before. Been crocheting 65 yrs now, some prolific others at slower pace due to full time employment as a professional, accident injuring spine and arthritis brought early retirement. I get excited when I find a new great designer of free patterns since I spent retirement monies over the years for medical bills. I depend on libraries and now online since my twin/her wonderful hubby got me connected online. I try to stay positive and contribute to society. Sites like yours are a blessing. God bless. - an old lady from the states

Julie, Iv had bones in my ears replaced and wear 2 hearing aids for exactly the same prob, if you turn on the captions they will show up on my videos too, there is an icon like a wheel if you click it you can turn on subtitles. (iv had hearing aids since i was 22, i am now 60)
