I am new to your videos. I am very impressed! As others have said, you are an awesome instructor! Very clear , attention to details too. Something I noticed...you seem to answer a lot of the questions I have about basic crocheting that most of the other videos don’t even address. Thank you sooooo much!

Oh wow! What a GREAT tutorial! You sure cover everything and answer ALL possible questions! I love it! Thank you for explaining about evening up the counts on the sides of a project in order to facilitate a particular border. I never really knew I could do that. I was thinking, “You mean it doesn’t have to look all lumpy and bumpy in areas where I’ve tried to squeeze in corrections?!” Hahahaha.

That’s a real effective border. Well worth the effort Tiffany, I have a double crochet blanket just finished and this stitch will top it off beautifully. Thankyou

I am working a spike stitch blanket will this border work with that blanket?
@CrochetWithTiffany4 жыл бұрын
Hi Brandy! Sure! I think with the Spike Stitch being 2 dimensional that this Cable Border will add a 3D effect and make it pop. And of course if you are working the border and decide that it's not working for you you can always take it out and try something else. 😊🧡🧶

I like Cable Stitch Boader when u did Crochet Stitching I got lost.
@CrochetWithTiffany4 жыл бұрын
Hi Leigh! Hmm, could you tell me where in the video you got lost exactly? Was it when I was talking about making sure you had enough spaces to make the cable stitch work? The math part or was it when I started crocheting the actual Cable Stitch? Maybe, if possible, could you tell me what the time is in the video where I lose you so I can help better. 😊❤️🧶

Should borders have a larger needle size or a smaller needle size?
@CrochetWithTiffany3 жыл бұрын
Hi Deborah! That is a great question! I would say it all depends on the yarn you are using for the border and possibly what stitch you will be using for the border as well. You want to make sure your border stitches are not tighter than the blanket stitches because that could cause the blanket to crinkle or bow and you don’t want your border stitches to be larger or more than those used in the blanket because that could cause the border to ruffle or elongate a side of the blanket. For these reasons I try to stick with the same size yarn and crochet hook I used for the blanket in the border. I will also count how many stitches and rows there are so I can make sure to stay on count and not have the issue of too few stitches or too many. I hope this helps.

Can you make rows of cable stitches? I make dog clothes and I think 🤔 that this would make a beautiful ruffle skirt if it can be done in rows! If you have any good dog clothe patterns, I'd love to see them. I can only find basic sweaters and I like to make dresses!
@CrochetWithTiffany4 жыл бұрын
Hi S. Aston Family! Yes, the cable stitch can be done in rows. I think it's an intermediate level stitch done in rows, lots to be aware of but it can be done! I can take a picture of the pattern from my reference book if you would like to give it a try. Just email me and I'll send it over to you. email: HookedForHope@gmail.com. Honestly I am still working on people clothes little own dog clothes. I might get there but currently not there yet. You could be a new dog clothes crochet designer! Ooohhh! Thank you so much for asking. 😊🧡🧶
