I love this idea! I made a much shorter version of this so that it is more of a "short shoulder cozy" where it sits just on top of my shoulders (as measured from my neck to the end of my shoulder) around my neck - and yet it also naturally hangs down my back and front a little. I crocheted enough rows so that it formed an almost complete circle. It keeps my shoulders warm and looks great. I made it out of Lion Brand multicolored HOMESPUN yarn. I layer it on top of a button down shirt or over my turtleneck top. Thanks again for this great SUPER EASY design!

If I wanted to make this significantly longer would I be able to, if so, how would I go about doing that
@nanascraftyhome5 ай бұрын
Absolutely you could make this shawl as long you would like! Simply add on the number of chains to make it the length you wish and then simply work double crochet stitches in every chain you added. Work the top portion the same - you will just be adding on to the double crochet portion of the shawl. I hope that helps! 💕🌸

What ply wool to use and how many balls
@nanascraftyhome5 ай бұрын
I used 2 balls of Lion Brand Mandala which is a light #3 weight yarn for a total of approximately 725 yards. I hope that helps! You can find all the written pattern details + supplies on the post here: nanascraftyhome.com/night-on-the-town-capelet-free-crochet-pattern/
