It's amazing what a beautiful and elegant scarf you can make just by using half double crochet stitches. I am a beginner and made your scarf using premier basix chunky in a 5 weight. I used a 10mm hook to make the scarf softer and looser. It came out so beautifully I'm starting my next one now. I found it easier to use half doubles rather than singles for a beginner like me. (I also worked up a scarf previously from one of your other videos where you only use single crochets). I enjoy all of your tutorials very much! Do you have a way where we can support you through KZbin?
