I'm planning on making a blanket for after Christmas as I don't want to feel lost after a marathon of crochet in November and December. This pattern is lovely and I like your colour choices.

I note on your video when beginning row 7 you say to crochet 2 dc (instead of the usual 3 - you're obviously using the ch3 as one of the usual 3dc throughout-- NOTE that written pattern says to 3 dc In space between next two 3-dc group. I was getting different stitch counts -- mess - but using the 3 as written did give me 134 stitches (44 groups, PLUS 2dc). Or am I missing something? Thanks.
@CrochetwithClare
@CrochetwithClare 7 жыл бұрын
Hello, from memory the stitch count does change on the pattern when you are dong the section with the 3 dc's, but it all evens out when you go back to the rows of dcs

If you add multiples of three to enlarge the lapghan, and instead of chaining 136, you chain 142 -- how do you compensate that with the new length you now need? Thanks

My project is bowing not working out straight, how can I fix it?
@CrochetwithClare
@CrochetwithClare 8 жыл бұрын
+Deborah Chilton Hello, if it is smaller at the bottom and then gets wider i would say that your starting chain is too tight, also check your stitch count and check that you haven't accidentally added stitches, i would say its your starting chain though, because its a common problem :)

Yes you can adjust this very easily, in the beginning of the pattern you can adjust the amount of chains - it tells you how to adjust it :)
