Hi, thank you so much for the great feedback and how exciting to crochet with your grandmother I have not yet learnt how to do the basket weave stich myself, but when I do I will share it with all of you :) thank you for watching

I know you did this 5 years ago, but just wanted to tell you I was looking for a video with a lot of borders. I’m so glad I saw this. BTW, the colors do look different, I can see the blues in the border are different colors… It came out really fabulous! ❣️

Beautiful blanket, I can hardly wait to go buy my yarn to start my next project. A friend got me started on crochet as therapy for my arthritis in both of my hands. You are an awesome instructor! Thanks Ko I

thank you for your kind words on my design. it was such a great project to work on. yes keeping your hands moving should help your arthritis. At least that is what my friend tells me about hers. lol!

I am making this one presently (in shades of purple with some minor adjustments). I saw this one and I am granny square addicted. I originally made granny square blankets for my granddaughters but, either I was defective or the yarn was, therefore after about a week of them loving them too much they fell apart. When I saw this one I knew this would be the one I would do for the remakes. I will email you pictures if I cannot figure out how to share them on your facebook page. I love your youtube videos please keep them coming. I am self taught so your videos have helped me to understand so much better. Thank you!! Thank you!!

Thank you, I am so glad you did this kind of join because I have put off finishing a project because my granny squares are like your border. I have only found videos showing how to crochet as you go. I like that method but wasn't sure how to do it with this kind of edge/border.

Love the new tutorial Clare! I was wondering if you have a tutorial on the basket weave stitch? I just came back from visiting my grandmother and she showed me that stitch but I didn't have enough time with her to really learn how to do it. So I thought I would learn from you just like all my other projects that I have learned from you. Thank you.

Hello!, I'm so fascinated with this tutorial in crochet, that I just have to ask you; instead of crocheting the squares together, can't you sew them together, or will that make them too lose?
