Crochet Decorative Large Flowers Part 1 | Sunflower & Water Lily Inspired

Crochet decorative flowers. Idea for round pillows motifs, square motifs, hot pads, vase coasters, parties decorations or just a room decorations and more.This is from round 1 to 8 video only.
Skill level: Easy to intermediate. This is a step by step tutorial. I do believe Beginner can do it too.
Yarn used: Medium 4 weight yarn, 100% acrylic.
Royal blue & gold is mainstay brand
Spring green, yellow and light blue: redheart
Crochet hook: 4.25mm
If the video is too fast or slow: click the video settings or the 3 dots & set to your desired playback speed.
Front Post Puff stitch guide: (Yarn over, insert hook in space indicated. Yarn over & pull up a loop) 3 times - 7 loops on hook. Yarn over & pull through 6 loops on the hook. Yarn over & pull through 2 loops on the hook - Puff stitch made.

Ch - Chain
SC - single crochet
DC - double crochet
FP - front post
Sk - skip
St/s - stitch/es
Prev. - previous
sp - space
Time lapse

Hi Lyza ,Thank You for your tutorial. I have made a similar sunflower a couple of years ago, but the pattern was much more complicated ,working the back (skeleton) first then filling in the petals.I like the way you do it , so much better.Thanks again.XX
