i would recommend using a significantly smaller crochet hook than what is recommended because the bag will end up being a lot more stretchy if you don’t if that makes any sense

I love all of your tutorials. Only thing I would love more is if you would add how much yarn you use. The last tutorial I watched of yours (another bag) you didn't give the amount of yarn you used and of course I didn't buy the correct amount of yarn and had to order more. I had to wait almost a week to finish my bag. I thought I was gonna die. I was just so close to finishing. Now I want to try this one as a book bag, but not really sure I will. At least until I buy a lot more cotton yarn. Everything else about your tutorials are absolutely fantastic!

I use a 4 weight cotton and use a size 4mm hook and my bag is 16” wide. I’m going to try fewer stitches to get it to 12 or 13 inches.

Making this bag now...you don't explain at the end of the green, what you did with the green after that final SC stitch. You said you cut it but then did you make a knot with the green? How did you attach the green to the yellow exactly? I will tie a knot of 2 colors together.

you have to do 2sc in every corner. It´s easier to understand this way
