That is wonderful. Lately I have seen a lot of cardigans with embroidery on them. Like a green cardi with red mushrooms, so cute. I want to try it!!
@StarriSprinkles8 күн бұрын
Omgggg the little mushrooms would be so cutee, maybe try a species of mushroom as a challenge? Or just stick to the red mushroom for funzies ehehee

Wonderful idea! I watched this video and I made my mom a Mother's Day present! I had everything else(thread, hoop, yarn, crochet supplies) but I didn't have any extra fabric for embroidery. Luckily I saw your video and quickly whipped up a present! Thanks!

Good morning Lindsay this is beautiful, you could also use embroidery floss to do the flowers. Watching from 🇯🇲 Jamaica. 👏👏🙌🙌
@WindingRoadCrochet2 жыл бұрын
That is very true. I was trying to aim this video for crocheters and using materials that crocheters would already have on hand. Most crocheters will have a yarn needle, yarn, and a crochet hook on hand. It is just the embroidery hoop they may need to pick up. But once you get started with embroidery I wouldn't be surprised if they start buying some floss and linen fabric.
@mariatavio6580 Жыл бұрын
hi! loved this tutorial 😍 could you show us how to do this with a bigger piece of crochet? how do you keep that tension if the piece is bigger?
@WindingRoadCrochet Жыл бұрын
Here is another video that I did. The final project was a larger piece. I didn't do anything to make the fabric tight when working the project, but you could wrap the edges on a picture frame if you need it to be tight. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZ-WpWB4p7qBeqs

There might be transfer papers. I just trace it on.

I love this idea! You have a new follower 😊❤❤ Edited to add a question: how would you finish it/detach it from the e-loop?
@WindingRoadCrochet9 ай бұрын
I don't detach them when I am done but display them on the loop. If you were to detach them then I would just cut the yarn that I used to sew it to the loop and unthread that yarn piece.

Thanks for the beautiful video, so I have a question: I got a bleach stain on my bathroom mat, and it has kind of a fluffy surface, do you think this kind of embroidery work for that ?
@WindingRoadCrochet Жыл бұрын
You could try it. The yarn will be a different texture and I would use cotton yarn for a bathroom mat.
