This is a great scarf. ❤ I have been crocheting since the 70s....oh, my first 4-H garment was so horribly 70s....😂😂😂 and of course, it was granny square, a veregated green tank sweater worn with a white turtleneck and white polyester bellbottom slacks for the fashion show. I actually got a trophy. Yuck. My, how times have changed. The stitches now are absolutely magnificent. Granny Square can be made to look cool now. In the late 80s, I wished I had learned to knit because making crocheted clothing or sweaters was just not as nice. Now, crochet clothing is fabulous. We are getting ready to move several states away. I refused to part with my yarn but had to give up years' worth of pattern books and magazines. 😢😢😢 Thank you, KZbin and the talented crochet artists. I went through and looked at your entire channel. I ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 LOVE the colors and stitches you have selected. We are moving from the cold mountains to the south, but they still get a short period of freezing rain and a little dusting of snow. I can find some things here to make for myself and gifts to send to friends and family. I look forward to actually watching most of these videos, breaking my yarn out of their tote prisons, and sitting in front of a fire 🔥 with my hooks and some NEW and Cool patterns. I'm so happy I stumbled on your channel and took the time to check it out 😊

Hello there, My wife made me your Wanderer's Hooded Scarf, I just needed to stop in and thank you for your beautiful yet masculine design. She made it with local Canadian wool, naturally dyed spinach, It's perfect, even with all of our east coast Canadian weather, it stops the cold, and holds the chilling winds at bay, and I love the options to wear it tight or loose, as our temps are always changing here, Thank you for your thoughtful design.

Loving this pattern and tutorial. I'm on my third scarf. Sent two to NY for my son's and working on the third one for a friend's husbands birthday. Hoping to get around to making one for me eventually. I found a good antipilling yarn and the color name is cashmere. Thanks again! ♥️

Oh I really like this! And I enjoy your instructional videos, very good teaching!! Question, 6.5" wide doesn't sound very wide but looks good. Does your husband like the length and width?
@WindingRoadCrochet Жыл бұрын
It is wide enough. He likes the width but keep in mind we live in Phoenix AZ and it doesn’t get as cold. You could definitely work extra rows but you will need another skein if yarn.
@janiceharrison8397 Жыл бұрын
@WindingRoadCrochet good point. I live in Nebraska where it's been getting as cold as the teens at night already. Think another skein is a good idea! Thanks for your response.

@WindingRoadCrochet How many skeins do you need for this project?
@monalishardul91562 ай бұрын
Hii my yarn is a bit thick. Will the scarf look good? I am making it for the first time..
@WindingRoadCrochet2 ай бұрын
You might need to check that you like the length.!
@hollyphillips759723 күн бұрын
Do you have to use wool?
@WindingRoadCrochet16 күн бұрын
Not at all. You can use any yarn type. It just has to meet the gauge.

You can always try a stitch marker to mark where you change stitches.
