I've enjoyed this video of making a jumper because your approach comes across to me as sense and instinct based. I'm new to crochet and I'm enjoying using this video to complete my first crochet project of a jumper for my little girl to wear to preschool. Good work here. I'll send you a picture of my project when it's finished. Thanks

Rosina - Thank you so much for creating this tutorial. I am a beginner on the cusp of intermediate (I hope 🙏). I purchased pattern from Iron Lamb for the Granny Rocks sweater (because you look so cute in your version) but the written pattern makes my head spin. This video plus graphs on your blog has given me so much clarity on sweater construction. I am going to make this sweater now. I’m learning a lot from your vlog too!!

Thank you for another fantastic teaching tool. I'm using the cuff tute for finishing a sweater I've been working on for at least 2 years. Sewing together lots and lots of small squares. I hope I like the sleeves, and I hope I do it properly. Love and Hugs

Very nice! I’ve always wanted to make a sweater like this. I started one using a pattern from a magazine(they shall remain nameless to protect the innocent). I had hoped to wear it by itself, but the center motif had large spaces. I’m past the age of flashing my belly button. So I never finished it. Actually it would make a Great Wall hanging. I love the sweater and your tutorials. Your so relaxed and normal. No pressure, no racing thru it. Thank you.
@laurelgirard8475 Жыл бұрын
I don’t think you need a swatch for this since it’s not fitted and snug. If you’re off the size, relax, you just add a row, or frog a row.

I like the laidback attitude for this sweater! It’s scrappy and you say scissors like my parents did, bless, I have a huge stash of odds and ends & plenty of two or three big 300 grams worth for bigger parts or as common color to blend throughout the granny sq. Does that make sense? I hope so!

Those bunnies are adorable. I love the Carmel eggs. They don't last long enough around here to wear a bunny coat. That's cool because I don't need another obsession right now.. 😂

I noticed that you’re not chaining between clusters. Maybe I should’ve done that for my top. Every tutorial I saw says to chain 1 but I’m noticing that the chain spaces are quite large and I’m probably going to have to line my top😕 Wish I would’ve seen this tutorial first😅😢

For the foundation row of the sleeves should I make it the width of my arm?
@zeensandroger30158 ай бұрын
The end result would be the circumference of your arm at the wrist plus extra for "ease" and it all depends on how much ease you want. It works out that I added about 13cm ease to mine (my wrist measures 14cm, so 27cm in total). Then, with the increases, it's wider at the upper arm. I added the measurements of my sleeve to the blog post.

Hello! I'm struggling with how to calculate how many rows and clusters I need for my shoulder tabs. I've got my fav jumper as a guide, but I'm just not sure how to calculate how many rows/starting clusters I need. Do you have any tips? Thank you!
@zeensandroger30158 ай бұрын
Have you read the blog post that goes with this.jumper? You can measure the width of the tabs on your favourite jumper and work out how many clusters /rows to start with based on that..the blog post talks about those calculations. zeensandroger.com/2023/03/05/granny-square-sweater/
