using a star stitch is good too! The holes in-between is the perfect size for my hooks.

I've watched several of your videos and while I was very much a basic beginner at first, over the past few months, I think I've become an advanced beginner! Thank you so much for all your videos and amazing projects! The baby booties were my favorite and they came out so well for me. You explain everything so thoroughly!

I've watched so many of your videos. You do such a great job making it easy to understand! Being able to watch you do them so closely helps immensely, and you do a great job continuously explaining mistakes newbies make. You just make it feel so accessible! I also love your accent, haha Thank you so much for all these videos!

Thank you so much for this video! I get so aggravated when doing borders on my work. You explained it so well. Now I know how to watch if I'm doing too many or too few stitches. My MIL taught me the granny square, but that's all she knew, so I taught myself to crochet mostly, therefore I didn' have anyone to ask. Your video helped a lot! ❤

I love this case! It was very easy and fun to make. For the outside of mine I did the shell stitch pattern, and the inside the dc stitch. I love how the dc stitch holds the hooks firmly in place. Thank you for sharing this. I also love your accent!!

Just finished one of these....great job again with the tutorial...I opted to do the outside in sc....it made it a little harder to match the front and back exactly but I finally got it and I love how it turned out...thanks again Clare!!

Just watched your tutorial for the Crochet Hook Holder. I like the idea but I did one with the tunisian stitch. I have one posted in my photo section if you would like to look at it. I have hooks all the way up to P, the P hook does stretch it out a bit. Thank You for all the tutorials that you do, I have advanced in my crocheting techniques.

Thank you so much for the tutorial. I'm making one with some variations. I'd seen such a case in a craft store that sold for nearly $20. I never thought of making one. I have knitting and crochet needles of all sizes. I'm also going to put a pocket or two on the inside of mine for items, such as my tape measure.

I was thinking, I didn't remember seeing a video like this on your channel already, it would be cool to see a video of your crochet hooks, or your favorite crochet hooks and where you got them [if you're able to remember lol you probably have a zillion] lol maybe that's just me but I think that would be really cool and super interesting!

thoughts on very large crochet hooks that cant fit in the holder, sew in a pocket just wide and long enough for them. You might have to make the width more than the 8 1/2 if they are longer than that.

It looks simple enough for me to do :). I'm a raw beginner and only know the chain (easy), single, half-double, and double crochet stitches. I need help, though! Currently, I only own a J and a H hook. Which other ones should I buy to cover most beginner's projects? (I ordered a set with an L, P, and a Q hook for an upcoming project, but other than them?) Thank you! You're a good teacher.

@CrochetwithClare9 жыл бұрын
Janay Taylor you could use thread to make one but it would take quite a bit of thread and will take you much longer to make it since thread is so small. you would also need a lot more stitches.

I am making mine right now but using 5 mm hook, that is the smallest I have. Need to get the 4 and 4.5 mm ones soon. I doubled the length so I have one piece that I fold in half and sew up 3 sides. 5 inches done so far so almosts 1/2 there.
