I watched the video today & found it to be one of the best crochet skill building tutorials that I have seen. I think it is for at least intermediate crocheters. That’s good as there is overload of beginner tutorials. I’ve been crocheting for about 10 years & now deliberately trying to up the quality & enjoyment of my crochet time. Your tutorial is in my KZbin library. Thank you! 😊

The starting chain is the hardest part for me. I love big blankets that require a few 180 - 300 chains. I'm a glutton for punishment. It never fails one of my for kids or, worse yet, my husband decides they need to have my attention. I've threatened to trade cats for gerbils abs stab my hubby with my crochet hook, but they're not afraid of me, they know I'm all talk. I just decided that adding a stitch marker every 10 chains. I was trying 20 - 30, but I'm better off with 10. I've learned slower is really faster because I don't have to frog it and start over 10 times. I do summertime use a stitch marker at the end of a row when I start out just to be sure I get every chain, I hate when I'm a few rows in before I realize I didn't get the part stitch like I thought I did. I still can't make myself leave a long tail, I really need to get over that. Thank you for the tips.

Sorry about that! I understand that this might be a bit confusing. It seems that many others in the comments found the video clear, but I appreciate that everyone has a different level of understanding, especially with crochet which can be quite intricate. If you have specific questions or need further clarification on any steps, please feel free to ask.
