I did a huge event in February and sold 2/3rd my inventory! I didn't have a single item I sold none of. Mostly plushies, at a car show. The families and wives that didn't want to be drug along with dad were my best customers

I love the prep videos. I have an idea for the coasters. They looked like cotton yarn, you can sell those as cleaning scrubies to wash your face, or dishes since they're small.

I used big ziplock bags to keep my items by size while waiting to label them. So I don't loose time questioning of which sizes they should be... ;-)

I'm prepping for a May 5 market. This is a new market for me so I've decided I'm going to focus on a theme of "Fun & Games". I've made a bunch of dice bags for the Dungeons & Dragons fans and am now working on mini potion bottle key chains. I've also made some cute Amish puzzle balls for young kids and I have several sets of reusable water balloons. I plan to make colour-matching games and fishing games for little ones as well. I've got some other ideas but would be open to any suggestions for things to fit the theme. My next sale after that is on Canada Day.

I'm not intending to diagnose you or anything, but have you looked into OCPD? It's different than OCD. It's basically a preoccupation with perfectionism in a way that's detrimental. I have it, and a lot of what you said in this video really sounds A LOT like how I feel about things. And it's a constant battle, like any other mental health issues. It sounds like you have it under control for the most part, but in case you actually have this thing too, I wanted to mention it because knowing there was a name for why I am the way I am has helped me tremendously in coping with it.

I have a market coming up this weekend at a local farmers market. It is one table and it's going to be center walkway. This farmers market always has great traffic but not sure how to display so both sides can see my merch? Or should I just focus on one side so I can get the height effect and display more items? The farmers market is one long hall with permanent booths on the sides. Until the weather gets nicer here in Michigan they offer local crafters tables in the center but in the coming months I have reserved 10X10 lot space.

Hi Camryn! I just wanted to share a cool resource that can help you better understand who you are as a person, how you move in the world and figure out other people! I only bring this up because you mentioned that you’re messy but also want things to be tidy and organized. It’s called Dressing Your Truth or Energy Profiling by Carol Tutle. The very basic outline of it is there are four types, 1, 2, 3 and 4, we have a primary type and a secondary type. I THINK you’re a primary 1 with secondary 4 (like me!) but only you know you best! Sorry this is so long but it’s fascinating to learn about it and it I think it can also help us with our businesses!! If you have any other questions I’d be more then happy to answer them 💚💚💚

How do you deal with people trying on hats, to me it's gross, I only had it happen once and I told that person they had to buy it because they got to it before I could warn them. I'm too paranoid they will have lice and I'd have to toss all of my inventory if it got into everything.

I'm making a fishnet bolero. I stepped into making summer clothing and I love it! I like the switch up from hats and scarfs even though it takes a bit longer. I love the colors that you wanted to clearance. They would catch my eye on a table for sure.
